My 10 year old son was playing outdoors in his fleece jacket today. The jacket has a front zipper and two pockets for one’s hands. The jacket ripped / was torn by a large stick perhaps near the front hand pocket area. How does one fix this? Glue a patch? Iron-on a patch? Sew it? Send it back to Patagonia?
Hey Christina, Any or all of those, except glue, could be answers depending on the hole. If it is small enough you can iron on a patch. If it is a larger tear you can satin stitch the hole. Do not glue on a patch as it will wash and wear funny, causing more wear on the jacket. You can check out our patching guides listed below for inspiration. Any of these methods should work for a tear in fleece.
