My iPhone 4 has 5 point pentalobe screws on the bottom, but they are stripped and wont come out how do i remove them. Can you help me please??

Slide you back cover on all the way. Push down very firmly on the back cover and slide it down towards the screws all the way. Even little, imperceptible movement will help. This will release the pressure on the screws so they can come out easily. If this causes the heads of the screws to show even a bit, you can use tweezers to continue turning and removing the screws.

I used a piece of scotch tape over the stripped screw and after repositioning the tape two more times worked the screw out without having to use any force.

Use a wood screw in screws hammer down with hammer a few times will break the heads of the screw then it should slide off

How to remove stripped screw from battery door?

I had the same problem. I used a 1/16" drill bit and lots of patience.

Typically when I run into this i just get a little bit bigger bit and try to continue. If that doesn’t work tape where the screws are and continue. If that doesn’t work my last advice is to break the back off and remove the screws due to the fact there is something effecting the screw! which could be the driver isn’t getting grip or the threads aren’t working together correctly or even they were the wrong screw forced in. but its possible!

tried everything… i must really suck because nothing worked
