How do you make a  new PS3 Blue Ray  player work on an original PS3  motherboard when I already disposed of the original blu ray player that came with the original PS3. I didn’t know about the matching board rule at the time.

It’s simple, you don’t. Maybe hacking the motherboard will allow setting a new drive key, but the board has to be hackable in the first place.
