ok so i have an iphone 4 and after it was droped the screen broke and my wifi was weaker so i pland to fix the sreen and just redo all the glass as red and the fram as black and well replacing all that i put a new wifi antenna in to see if that would fix the weak wifi well i did not, and now just this week i now have no phone service and still weak wifi, i looked up online and some one said that the blue coil by the wifi and battery plug could have broke, i looked and i think it may be i found the part i need to fix it online. is there any way you can put something up to show how to replace it, thank you

I usually just create a jumper with soldering iron and it works.

I just dabbed a small blob of conductive silver with a circuit pen across where the coil was and it works perfect now.

you can replace it with a new blue iphone coil that will fix the problem you can buy a new blue coil here for the repair

update video tutorial on how to change the coil with hot air gun on youtube :]

The answer to your questions, how to fix the blue inductor coil causing a signal problem, the solution is easy we have repaired many with a 100% success rate. If you look at the signal antenna which you plug the cable into, simply run a wire from the left side bridge it to the right side point on the blue coil and follow it all the way to the furthest (right) component on the top left side. This will act as a ‘bypass route’ and your signal will start to work again. All it takes is a bit of micro-soldering knowledge and some 0.1mm wire and basing soldering equipment. This will fix your problem guaranteed, providing it was the missing blue coil that caused your signal issue in the first place.

Solution: If you don’t have soldering equipment just like me, basically find a very small metal as small as the blue coil and stick it to a very small double sided adhesive and put it where the blue coil should be put. I did it and i got FUUUUULLL bars and the customer’s phone was back to life. Good luck!
