How do I reset my g Digital camera cause when I turn it on it tells me to power off then power back on then when I do it says the same thing all over again it want let me take pictures please help me

Hi, What is the make and model number of the camera? Can you easily remove the battery from the camera? If so, remove the battery, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release the power button and replace the battery and turn it on and see if it works OK
