my drivers side windshield wiper quit working I took it in to have it fixed they temporarly fixed it now it is broke again. They want to charge me 300 to fix it. all i need to do is replace the linkage how do i do it

Here you go: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arm/blade.
  3. Remove the vent cowl cover.
  4. Remove the windshield wiper motor.
  5. Remove the pivot assembly mounting nuts, fixing screws. 6.Take out the windshield wiper linkage assembly from the opening of the cowl. Installation To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order Windshield Wiper Motor Removal
  6. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  7. Disconnect the connector(2).
  8. Remove 4 mounting bolts.
  9. Remove the nut of the wiper motor shaft, and disconnect the linkage.
  10. Remove the windshield wiper motor(1). CAUTION: To facilitate the removal of the nuts, be sure to put out the tip portion of the linkage sufficiently through the mounting hole of the motor by sliding the wiper blade slowly. Hope this helps, good luck.
