I’ve been looking and so far I’ve seen that I need to dismount the logic board and detach the touch ID, but where do I connect it when I replace it? If someone has a guide or video showing it I would appreciate it.
A random touch ID from another Mac won’t work as it’s paired with the system within a secure enclave. The only one able to replace a touch ID button would be an Apple authorized service.
How much this operation by apple?
