I have replaced the screen in my Z4s a few times (I have more than one). However, this time the LCD FPC connector for the screen got chipped exposing the underlying pins. Neither the old cracked (but still working) screen nor new one will work now (no response - stays black). I can only guess the connector may be the problem. I have found it for sale at an online parts website, however, if it requires delicate soldering, I may not be capable of replacing it. I have not located any help guides or other assistance to show how to replace it. I can manage it if it simply snaps into place. Anyone here have any suggestions or references where I may look for some guidance? Many thanks in advance for help with this matter.

you would need a soldering iron, hot air station and possibly a microscope for this job as thats the most common tools to do this repair. i would suggest taking it to someone that does microsoldering
