Try resetting the tablet by using a straightened out paperclip to press the reset button which is found on the back of the tablet. Had a problem with a slightly different headset where the copper wire inside the speaker was kinked and would only work half of the time. It’s a bit more hassle but swapping the speaker out of your headset might fix it - just check for any kinked connections inside of the speaker....

Chosen Solution Contaminated my iPhone 3GS with a mixture of oil, sugar, soy sauce. (Korean BBQ Marinade) Not much but just enough to cause the message “Charging is not supported by this device” when ever I wake the phone from sleep. Everything seems to work and it will charge. Chosen Solution Ice maker tray will not dump. Reset button works and water fills and freezes. We have had 2 new ice makers installed but we still have the same problem. What tells the tray it is time to dump the ice? Our model does not have an arm. It has a sensor to stop ice making In lots of models there is an arm that clicks down or up.As the ice bucket fills the arm gets lifted to a higher position and this stops the ice maker from dumping and making more ice....

Chosen Solution So I decided to replace my IPad Mini Screen because it was cracked and everything went well until my phone lost all charge so I couldn’t watch the ifix it video about it, by this time I was already committed and has stuff in the device. I did the screen replacement and accidentally cut the digitiser on the old screen taking it off and not when I try to put the new glass digitiser on it won’t respond at all....

Chosen Solution I have a severely water damaged iPhone 6 which has corrosion on the top part of the board, the bottom part looks fine and not corroded. I have cleaned up as much of the corrosion as possible with 99% IPA but the display connector probably needs to be replaced and therefore nothing the screen is not working and does not display anything (although there could be another underlying issue)....

Chosen Solution As said in the title it is unable to activate and it keeps searching for a carrier even though there is no sim in the phone That is a baseband circuit fault on the logic board. Not something I would consider fixing as those require micro-soldering work to be done and the chances of success are low vs how much the phone is worth these days.

The phone worked fine for a while and I had removed the screen multiple times to clean camera lens and replace it etc. Then the touch screen cable wouldn’t click down as well and I started getting a couple of lines on the same spot intermittently and the digitizer became erratic and wouldn’t work where the 2 lines were....

Me being cheap, along with not wanting to get an aftermarket LCD that might have bad coloring, I decided I would just replace the glass, especially since I knew there was no damage to the digitizer....
