Chosen Solution I’ve had to remove my logic board, SSD, and WiFi card from the body of my MacBook Pro temporarily. I’m wondering: what’s the best/“safest” way to store these while outside of the computer? I assume there is nothing toxic/hazardous about holding them outside of the machine. Are they alright in a sealed plastic bag? Should I remove the thermal paste from the logic board? Thanks. Use a non-static bag, they are usually orange or pink....

Chosen Solution I will replace the hdd in my emc 2210 with the Seagate hybrid. I want to replace the fan too because the error 4mot/1/40000003 hdd-1327 from the Apple Hardware Test makes it seem prudent to replace both BUT, after hours of searching I can’t seem to find the exact hdd fan replacement anywhere. Chosen Solution I opened it up and now I have very very limited cellular connection. My commute is pretty long and hits several cell towers but I would very rarely get any connection and when I did it would be just the little dot. What should I look for when I open it up? I put a screw though what i believe is the antenna. Fixed it by moving the antenna out from under the screw....

Chosen Solution My LG 554k ultra. When I turn it on all the LEDs flash on and off.ive taken the back off and looked for anything wrong I see no burnt areas no bad capacitors…when I plugged it back in with the back off all the LEDs lights are flashing on and off.any suggestions? Update (07/28/2019) Here are some pics wirh TV on. U can see in the middle but not on each side until it flashes...

Chosen Solution iMac works when I press the shift key during start up, which then opens in Safe mode, but during a normal startup, after the apple logo disappears and leads to the login page, instead of the log-in page, a half blank white screen, with rainbow pixels distort half of the blank screen. The iMac works as expected during safe mode as the login page appears, seems normal as well as the desktop after login....

Chosen Solution My iMac GPU failed about a week ago causing the OS to get stuck on a white screen with vertical pinkish stripes. I’ve performed a careful teardown to reflow the GPU. While I was at it I took the chance to repaste the CPU and give the iMac internals a clean using air duster can. I’ve put everything together and double-checked the connections which look ok to me. Upon pressing the power button, I’m greeted with 3 beeps every 5 seconds....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to replace the dock connector for the ipad, is this part available? My 2 month old ipad dock connector is dead! I’ve tried multiple cables which work on my iphone without success. Because it’s jailbroken I can’t take it in under warranty and because the dock is broken I can’t restore it… talk about being between a rock and a hard place! The unit does charge but it’s a trickle charge and takes forever, in fact to get it to full charge it has to be on most of the day which defeats the object of having the thing in the first place....

Chosen Solution hello there, obv the basic questions to get an iPhone 5 out of the Boot Loop have been answered numerous times but in this case most methods dont work because on this iPhone the power button isnt working anymore and so its not possible to power it up without the charging cable i have already disassembled the phone and tried to fix the broken power button and the iphone fell down on the corner near the power button (but the power button wasnt working before that either) and after the fall and dropping on the floor the iphone is now in a boot loop i dont know enough about iphone repair but i think its probably something caused by the drop...

Chosen Solution I’ve been looking and so far I’ve seen that I need to dismount the logic board and detach the touch ID, but where do I connect it when I replace it? If someone has a guide or video showing it I would appreciate it. A random touch ID from another Mac won’t work as it’s paired with the system within a secure enclave. The only one able to replace a touch ID button would be an Apple authorized service....

They can be a bit still at first. But once you get going, the leverage from pulling it off should help Charles, I posted instructions and the tool used to remove the back cover on your Galaxy Tab....
