Found out that the isight cable is damaged when i had the display assembly replaced (should this have fixed the problem as the new assembly would come with a new cable?? did i get scammed?) is it possible to fix this without replacing the screen? i can’t seem to find any guides for an A1369 online. If your warranty is passed, they will not do either, but they will offer 25% off future purchases for a replacement. Cue the same thing happening in 3 years. The new screen does not light up, but when the phone is plugged in to iTunes, the device is detected, but no display. We tried the old screen again and the screen comes on. Chosen Solution In an attempt to replace a cracked screen I accidentally stripped the small screws on the motherboard. Any suggestions on how I can get past this? I cannot get to the screen without removing these screws. I tried the rubber band and duct tape tips unsuccessfully. Please help anyone! Happened upon this. Chosen Solution Long story short, my phone got water damage and wouldn’t turn on, I bathed the Logic Board in alcohol and put it back together and now it works, with a catch. My LCD screen is working, some diagonal lines and the brightness might be a bit lower (I cant remember if I set it low.) And a brighter section in the top right of the screen. However the biggest issue is the touch screen isn’t working should I buy a new screen or is there some other fix I should try before this....
Chosen Solution my iphone 6s was ‘blank modem firmware’ and i see eeprom chip is cracked, i can’t read data from eeprom chip with some tool cause chip was cracked. can i change eeprom chip for baseband without original data from old eeprom chip with new one? you can change cpu eeprom but not the bb cpu eeprom, unless you extract information from old to new one.
