Chosen Solution Hello, I recently installed a new hard drive into my iMac computer. This is an older model, believe its a 2011. I am using a Corsair K95 keyboard, and everytime I try to power on the mac it goes white screen then a grey folder appears with a ? inside. I have tried using Alt, control, and windows key, with combination of the “R” key. No clue why this isn’t working, any suggestions would be amazing....

Can anyone help me or tell me how to fix it or tell me a store that I could take it to that’s a good cheap price. Hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time. About 30 secs. Phone will vibrate and turn on. I thought my HTC wasn’t charging as well, but doing the above fixed it....
Chosen Solution When I turn on the TV, the led blinks and I have the audio, but the picture does not appear until some time. First 15 minutes, then worsened to nearly 1 hour. Some forums attribute this problem to dirt, so I opened up the set and did a bit of cleaning, but I had not any luck. I did not disconnect the flyback to clean the connection to the tube because I was not sure how to discharge it first....

Chosen Solution I was repairing an iPhone 4S for someone and all went well. I reassembled it and turned it on, but the screen was black. At first I thought the battery was flat, but the phone was on and working (the CPU warmed up etc. etc.) I plugged it into my computer and it makes the sound that any iOS7.x.x makes when you start charging it. Chosen Solution Hello, Before restoring this iphone 6 plus, the wifi and battery didnt work, so i decided to try a restore. Oddly, the battery now works, but after the restore finishes it gets stuck in the apple logo and a progress bar that stays at 99%. Chosen Solution After putting a wrong screw in a wrong hole, i think i destroyed my motherboard. what do i do now? If you did that, you would have what is called Long Screw Damage. This is when a longer screw physically damages (shreds) the copper traces of the logic board. You can see some pictures here for reference. If this is what you have, you will need to find a shop that does micro-soldering and does this particular repair....
Chosen Solution When holding the power button nothing comes up on the screen, the phone does not vibrate when hitting the switch or anything, so it seems like it is dead. So i plugged it in my computer, and instantly it was recognised by itunes, and i am currently restoring the device. Chosen Solution made the mistake of shampooing carpet on hardwood floor, using too much shampoo, my floor is stained black and green. My thoughts were to sand off polyurethane, scrub stained areas with wood bleach, restain and re poly the affected areas. Any additional advice would be great. You’re on the right track based on your thoughts in your question, the only thing I would add is that depending on how big your flooring is, I would consider resurfacing the entire wood floor....

Chosen Solution I am replacing my hard drive with the 500GB Hybrid hard drive that I purchased from iFixit. I have the hard drive and a case with USB cable. I am waiting for a screwdriver to arrive that I need to remove the hard drive. My question is: How do I get the operating system on the new hard drive? I am presuming that I will have to connect the new drive by putting it in the case and connecting through a USB port....
