Chosen Solution hi! i’m new! i have an acer aspire one zg5 netbook which hasn’t been used in a long time due to a HDD failure, i recently started using it, after replacing the old HDD, bt a problem occured during start up, the machine will not boot at all and the power on LED light flashes for a second wen i click the power on button. i have gone through all the guides and answers on ifixit,followed all possibility to find and fix the problem at hand, the only possible explanation i can up with is the power supply is insufficient to power up the machine, i need help in changing the power supply and if anyone has had a similar problem and solved it please guide me also, this netbook is very important....

Chosen Solution I need to re-cable my headphones after my son severed the cable at the junction. I can’t find any screws on the headphones and the soft ear cover that would normally pull off seems glued down on this model. Has anyone ever opened these? Chosen Solution Hi, i have 2.5’’ hdd with a torx (T6) screw on the pcb that from the force it’s turned into a round hole. I have used the rubber band method but still no luck.Also i cannot use a heat gun cause the microchips may get loose. I must try at all cost not to damage the pcb. Chosen Solution I did not notice the screw that attaches the heatsink to the TOP CASE, located nearest to the fan. I Yanked up on it and the very tip of it snapped off. New to this! will I need to replace the whole piece or was this just there to keep it in place? Just there to keep it in place. Your fine.

Chosen Solution what isthe probelm ? Hi! Try using a different charger, the one on the DVD player probably was not pwerful enough to power your phone and your phone shut down when the battery ran out.

Hi Ifuo, Seems like a reasonably new laptop, check your warranty period and if still valid contact the manufacturer’s customer service section (or do what the warranty document in your User Guide says) regarding a warranty claim for repair /replacement. Giving the answer of “It’s under warranty” at this point is moot....

Chosen Solution The monitor has a micro USB female receiving port to charge the battery. If I plug in the USB cable just right the battery charges; however, just right means a combination of things including: laying the unit on it’s back; placing a 1-2lb item in the USB cord to maintain the charge. It’s annoying and I’m highly confident I just need to replace the receiving end of the charger....

Chosen Solution Yesterday I successfully replaced the battery in an iPhone 6. After I was finished I found two small rubber nubs (soft rubber, not broken plastic) on my work bench that I assume had fallen unnoticed out/off of the phone. The only parts and screws that I had removed were the two outside casing screws on either side of the lightning port, the battery connector cover and its two screws, and the vibrator and its the two screws....

Chosen Solution Hi all I just want to try and find this out. I see a lot of people that have replaced an iPhone 5 battery have problems with the phone booting or going into recovery mode. Does the iPhone 5 suffer the same as the iPhone 3GS in were the apn had to be a certain number? I used a different screen that has a home button to test the phone and noticed that the phone refuses to boot up with the foreign home button attached. I unplugged it and it tuned on. I plugged it in and the phone shuts off and won’t come on until the home button is unplugged. The original home button works fine and the phone will come on when its plugged in....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I really need your help. I have got an iPhone 6 (don’t know it’s history) other than it just didn’t turn on and didn’t work by it’s previous owner. So I’ve replaced both the battery and the screen but it’s still the same. When I plug it into iTunes, the phone buzzes three times and the black screen turns a very pale white (or lighter black if you like) and it looks like it’s about to turn on but nothing happens....
