Chosen Solution I replaced my battery around a month ago and it’s worked perfectly. However, as of yesterday, the phone cannot hold any type of charge. When it’s plugged in, it will sit at 1% or 4% and if I use it for more than roughly 30 seconds it will reboot on its own. Is my battery most likely faulty? When troubleshooting battery/charging issues, I would do the following (in order): Always try another Lightning cable and charger, preferably Apple original or MFi certified units....

Chosen Solution After finding a used iPhone for cheap I thought it would be a good idea to replace the backing plate on my iPhone 5s after watching hours of tear down videos and successfuly attempting a tear down and re install on a broken iPhone I went through with the replacement but after swapping every thing out and installing it in the new case I noticed it acting funny calls came through just fine but my data kept jumping around and when I placed a call it jumped down to 4g which is something it never used to do after noticing it heating up more then usual and my signal being weaker then usual (my brother has the same phone with the same service and side by side I have 2 less bars and it jumps down from lte to 4 g a lot also loses service) after a lot of trouble shooting and trial and error re installing of the lighting port I must have taken it apart 8-9 time by now I gave up and reinstalled every thing in the old case....

Chosen Solution A few days ago my home button started to stop working randomly, as in the phone would not recognize the button clicking, however the button itself still remained physically clicky. It would only register every 5th click or so. Soon afterwards, the button function ceased entirely. The fingerprint scanner still remained fully operational. I left the home button in since replacing it would restore the button, but not the scanner, and i preferred the scanner over the button....

Chosen Solution What if you just plugged in the computer while off into a extension cord that has the positive and negative prongs cut-off and only the ground remains. Then plug into a wall outlet with just the ground prong. Could this be a happy medium. Chosen Solution Replaced the battery and now the PC randomly shuts down even when connected to charger. Is this a defective battery? I have removed and re-installed the battery to ensured a solid connection. On boot up the display is saying that a non-HP battery has been put in this machine. (this is true, I am using an aftermarket battery) After that the laptop launches windows. jayeff. I took the new replacement battery out of the PC and just used the AC charger supply....

Chosen Solution So, I found this mouse in a goodwill for 4 bucks.I noticed that it doesent have a reciver but a micro usb in the mouse. I figured that its a charging port for the battery. i wonder, does the micro usb serve as a “alternate mouse connection to the pc to make it work?” Thanks! (also the mouse works when i put a battery on it.) The USB was designed to recharge the battery only....
