Chosen Solution Hello everyone, i am looking trough some websites where I usually buy iphone replacement parts, but the problem is that no one has the LCD replacement for the IPHONE 6 PLUS. Even Ifixit has not it in stock. Can anyone suggest me a website where to buy the part? Or does someone have informations about this shortage of iphone 6 plus screens??? thanks :_) Apple offers cheap replacements themselves, so nobody sell aftermarket screens....

Usually a green wire for the tach, red for power, black for ground, and white or yellow for the back light. The power wire that gets connected to a 12 volt ignition source, the tach signal wire that connects to the coil or the designated signal wire in your cars wiring diagram....

Chosen Solution At top rear, after paper leaves toner cartridge and turns up to go out eject port, paper is tightly jammed in the channel. Have been able to remove some of the jammed paper, but only in very small pieces. Cannot find how to open the cartridge-to-port channel so I can more easily and fully remove the paper. Chosen Solution I have a Nikon Coolpix S2600 that I havent used in years. Last I used it, it had a lens error, it will open and get stuck and then try to open, but won’t. I have pulled it apart and nothing seems to be broken, however I think this may have been the camera that got some bourbon spilt on it. It was years ago so I’m not sure....

Since there’s no logic board replacement guide available at this stage, the closer to it you can get is the Mac teardown and other parts replacements guides. Take your time to go through teardown and other guides to familiarize with individual parts and the way they connect to the logic board. Disconnect battery first and reconnect last, get yourself a good light source and double close check how connectors keep flex cables in place before pulling or lifting anything....

Chosen Solution My 1985 300D front rubber trim is loosening from it’s bumper. I tried to get the clips back into place and slide the impact strip into place. Unfortunately, it will not remain snug. Advice and directions to fix would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sounds like your not getting the clip far enough onto the rubber backing . A near impossible task on dry rubber. If you were to spray the rubber with a spray lubricant like liquid wrench or wd40 you’ll find you can push the clip on further and then when you assemble your fit will be tighter....

Chosen Solution How to solder the antenna wire back on the controller motherboard? @nytryder26 okay the antenna cable removal is around 09:00 mins. It is held in place by a small SMD antenna connector. You need to tell us if it is the connector on the board or the one on your cable that has failed. The connector on the board can be changed by resoldering a new one. It’ s small so you will need somebody with some micro soldering skills....

Chosen Solution The screen assemblies are pretty easy to differentiate. The main difference between the 6 and 6S series is the inclusion of the Force Touch IC (embedded in the backlight shield) and the Touch IC (on the Flex) on the iPhone 6S assemblies. The iPhone 6 assemblies do not have these IC’s. As for the 6Plus and 6S Plus, the same applies. Take a look at the pictures here and here....

Chosen Solution I am unable to get my car out of park. When i press down the brake pedal and press down the knob on my gear shifter (automatic) i feel a clicking and hear a clicking noise….any help or advice as to what part needs to be replaced and how to fix it would be appreciated. Chosen Solution My sister’s IPad 2 seems to be doing a weird glitch where when she turns on her IPad, the screen has a little bit of light, indicating the the screen is on, but it’s black. However, when we rotate the IPad screen, we can see the lock screen wallpaper while it’s rotating but every time it rotates to black. We tried resetting and when we do so, the Apple logo is clear on the middle of the screen, as if the screen isn’t even broken....

Chosen Solution Ok so client handed us a iPhone 6 to look which he dropped in the bath. Board has been cleaned with isopropanol 99% and have changed the battery and charging port and still no life. Tried plugging into PC and no response on pc or phone itself. Mains power plug does nothing at all. Any suggestions ? Thanks Jessa just did a great video on water damage for iFixit....

Chosen Solution I was given a tablet and it is locked, it says ‘Settings Lock’ and will not accept any password I have tried, I have done a factory reset at least 10 times, each time no success! First thing it asks for a language selection, ok, no problem! once I press ok the screen changes to the Wi-fi setup, and I see my router on the list for nearly a half second before the settings lock screen pops up and effectively stops my progress!...

Chosen Solution I’m trying to use the front facing screen to take a selfie with my family how do I get to the right settings? Make sure you turn the camera on and the lens extends. Then on top of the camera, to the left of the power button, you’ll see a button labeled ‘F.LCD’. Press that and it should respond for you.

How important is the ambient light sensor filter (white square filter) and what are its functions? Some people told me it’s a optical filter and not necessary, while someone else told me it’s a light diffuser. On white screens it’s a dot instead of a square. The front camera flex should have a rubber gasket that sits on the pink ambient light sensor and has a small hole on it....
