Chosen Solution I stupidly plugged a water damaged screen into a 100% working logic board. After connecting the water damaged screen to the board I than connected the original working screen and now I have horizontal lines with a black screen. I can still connect to iTunes in recovery mode without the display connected. Did I fry my logic board or did I damage the connector for the display? Thanks for any help....

Chosen Solution OK mother in law loaned out her old IBM r40 when it came back it had a password on it when asked the the person said humm I don’t rember. Well now it ends up in my hands. I tried the clock battery removal no luck. It shows a it shows the IBM splash screen then goes to a lock with the number 1 next to it and I think that means its a supervisor password....

Chosen Solution I got an error code p1448. Indicate ipu motor unit. Help Rames, Info. found at Insightcentral. Older insights 00-04, code P1448 may set if the batteries inlet duct or exhaust duct get blocked. If not blocked check the battery fan. If the fan works, the battery may be at fault and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck. Chosen Solution I am actually working on a dixon ztr 308 zero turn mower and am wondering if I have to use a wire harness to connect keyed ignition switch or if I can wire strait from ignition to solenoid, magneto, and ground? Is the harness just for a quick disconnect? A harness is for consistent easy assembly at the factory. You can direct wire with a connector or not. The ZTR 429 I’m rebuilding wouldn’t engage the blade clutch, the connector was so badly corroded....

Chosen Solution iMac was dead- old logic board had no diagnostic LEDs. Apple store said needed new logic board a year ago (said they tried a new PS and no go). Just put in a new logic board. LED#1 lights up, but power button does nothing. No sounds, no fans, no HDD. I did add a SSD as a secondary device. There is another LED on right side that comes on/off when power button pressed (below DVD player)....

Chosen Solution I recently removed the LED Driver on my Mac Air 820-00165. Once I received the new one in the mail I attempted to replace it. I must have rubbed the writing off with alcohol and I had to guess which way to put it on. Not only did the backlight not work but the Mac won’t even turn on or show a green light on charger. Except the magSafe plug wont show any light. The replaced battery wont charge, but it is running my macbook… now at 76% … till there will be no more juice left… While I was putting the macbook back together, I had medium struggle getting the cable connection coming from the new battery into the mainboard....

Chosen Solution Basically a couple months back my screen was cracked but still useable so I continued to use it, after a few weeks the screen started ghost tapping randomly and the top half inch or so of the screen was unresponsive. I ordered a replacement digitizer and screen from eBay and just fitted it, the ghosting has gone but when the iPad has been running for 20 mins or so the keypad becomes really slow and the same half inch of the top of the screen becomes unresponsive, the bottom half isn’t the best either....
Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a 5c Board running 7.1.2 on ebay. Unfortunately it has shipping damage. A par of the board is snapped off. It still boots. I know how to microsolder well. If I can’t repair the Board and bridge the traces, then I would transfer all the essential chips to a locked board. I know you need to transfer the NAND, CPU and Baseband. But are there any other chips I would need to transfer?...
Chosen Solution I put an iPhone 5s screen on a iPhone SE and it works really well. On the product info it says its not compatible so my question is why shouldn’t I if it works? Some of the lower quality iPhone 5S aftermarket screens don’t work well on the SE. Now that the SE has been out for over a year, we are seeing more 5S/SE compatible screens on the market....
