I just got a “plastic“ spudger and was wondering what is the notch near the flat end used for? Only thing i could find online was that it’s for wire hooking. Seems like nothing i have ever seen demonstrated or even mentioned, product’s description isn’t helpful either....
Chosen Solution It seems haier is difficult to find someone to repair Hi ya’ll. Problem with a Haier washer. I haven’t seen one in years. Every one that I have seen had the same problem and it was in the transmission/gear case. Expensive overhaul needed. Recommendation would be to call Haier and check if transmission/gear case is under any manufacturers warranty. If so find out who does the warranty work in your area and schedule service....
Chosen Solution I have dead pixels all over my phone. More or less it is the LCD. What should I puchase for the replacement of this? I am afraid I would purchase the wrong one since the ones I see online are for CRACKED Screens and not the LCD itself. I appreciate your advice. Chosen Solution I’m getting a question mark folder and the repair shop said I need the costly new logic board repair job. It would cost more than another laptop. I hate to just toss it. Has a new hard drive! Can I fix it myself and, if so, where can I find a good diagram of which part is the logic board when I open the case up? Also, I need specific layperson descriptions of the points I need to repair....
Chosen Solution Just received a new iPad 6th Gen digitizer from iFixit to replace my partner’s shattered one. On the original digitizer, the digitizer’s flex cables were adhered to the digitizer’s inner surface (across the copper border), as shown in this picture (I pulled them up to be certain): However, on the new one, the flex cables are not adhered…and, while there appears to be adhesive strips on the inside of the flex cables, the backing material is still on the side that would adhere to the digitizer, as shown in this picture...
Chosen Solution So, I got my hands to a Samsung Galaxy s8 plus. I flashed it to the “normal” ROM, and now it’s working as a normal phone but the cellular service just doesn’t work. Do any of you know a way to get it working? Thanks! Is it a live demo phone or a retail model? If it’s a demo model it’ll have all of the hardware but the baseband, so it cannot make phone calls and naturally lacks an IMEI number....
Chosen Solution Hi all! I have a late 2009 21.5" imac with an ati 4670 graphics card. One day it won’t boot anymore (white screen). If booting with the shift key helt down, the imac boots but without graphics acceleration. So I replaced the graphics card. Now after turning it on, the display remains black. An external display (TV) works fine. So at the moment I can do everything on my TV, even graphics acceleration works....
Chosen Solution When I boot up iPad the display starts jumping around rapidly the display is 90 % unresponsive the other 10% responds once then quits. Cleaned the display and did a reset no help. The digitiser is most likely broken. is the glass or lcd craked? was it dropped? if so, you probably need to replace the digitiser The glass is not cracked and hasn’t been dropped. It has done this before and then started working again....
Chosen Solution I have an iPad 4 on which everything works except the microphone. I leapt to the conclusion that it was a broken microphone, ordered a new one, and replaced it. That did not solve the problem. Everything else on the iPad works fine. I’ve tried a soft then a hard reset but to no avail. It is running iOS 10.3.3 Has anyone run into this problem before? What are the odds this is a software problem?...
Chosen Solution Hello, I have an Iphone 5s board which is shorted. Connecting to power supply and appling 2A nothing getting hot to determine where the short is coming. How’s that possible 2 Amps and nothing getting hot ? Thanks. That’s because your power supply is probably going into current limiting mode. When that happens, the voltage drops so the net result is there is very little power delivered to the board, hence no heat....
Chosen Solution Hi I ordered new OEM screen for an Iphone 6 with broken screen. Using old screen–>phone boots up and no issiue New screen–> Phone dont start up(no backlight either) Gone thorugh cables multiple times, drained out of power, only connected digitizer and LCD cable, cleaned new screen connections. When i put it in charger with new screen, sometimes it makes sound but no life on screen. The new screen is OEM and new and should not be bad....
Chosen Solution Not much to say…I forgot it was in my pocket and I jumped in the pool with my iPhone 6s. Lost about 8 months of photos of my little toddlers that I would really love to recover. I was stupid and didn’t have automatic iCloud photo backup activated. I sent the phone to two different shops for repair (www.ifixyouri.com and www.ubreakifix.com), both were unsuccessful. I’m a little untrusting of the services since they charge $10 even if they can’t fix it....

According to my service manual you have a T40/T40p, T41/T41p series: v V.90 modem daughter card (MDC) v IBM Integrated Bluetooth with 56K Modem (BMDC). you should not have to “turn it on” in a conventional way. You just have to make sure that your drivers are installed and that your software is setup to use your modem. This will of course depend on what software you are going to use....
Chosen Solution Just installed new hard drive (NVidia, 1TB, 5400rpm; purchased through iFixit) and I’m trying to transfer data from Time Capsule using Migration Assistant. New hard drive is listed under SATA. However, the Migration Assistant is not recognizing new hard drive as recipient. Please help. Any suggestions? Chosen Solution Hii I accidentally dropped my phone on the toilet bowl then I quickly removed the battery, sim cards, micro sd and put them in a container of rice then after 1 day i put them all back then there’s this small pinch of water on the screen i tried to turn it on then my phone vibrates(it usually do that when i turn back on my phone) then screen is still black the notification lights because of low battery but still screen is black....

Chosen Solution Hello. Recently the backlight of my macbook pro 13" (A1278) stopped working. I have opened the backcase disconnected the little ribbon cable and reconnected it. It does not work. Is there any other part that controls the backlight? Also My keyboard isnt working for a long time. I used a usb keyboard instead. I’ve got a thunderbolt > hdmi converter so I can use my tv as display, but since I have to reinstall osx in order for thunderbolt to work, i cannot use my tv right now… If I need to replace the backlight, how do I do this?...
