Chosen Solution How can I attach the display cover to the MacBook Pro (13-inch, late 2011, unibody)? The cover is loose at the bottom left (when opened). The attached photos show and explain the problem: If you look at the left side of the display, you can see that the aluminum cover (housing) is loose. Impact: If the cover does not come into contact with the back of the display, the mouse pointer freezes after a short time; the keystrokes are also not displayed, but initially buffered....

Chosen Solution My son decided to knock my phone down a couple months ago and cracked my screen 2 months later my screen quit working and 3 hours later started turning purple and now completely black. I have a password on it. Is there a way to retrieve the files, pictures and data off it? My SD card apparently didn’t save everything and there stuff on my internal memory. I wamt to try to get the stuff back before i turn it in as i have important files on it....

Chosen Solution I was watching TV earlier today and then the sound just stopped. I have tried other shows and still no luck. What can I do? @jyater68 hook up an external speaker or soundbar and see if that helps. Always check the setup menu to ensure that your speaker is turned on. If you give us the model number we can hopefully find you more specific information. i know it can sound stupid, but- try to unplugged you TV at first, waited about 10 /20 seconds, plugged it back in and sound can came back on - it helped me LOL ))...

Chosen Solution I removed battery cable but my phone still working can you help me for this issue? I have video to approve that are you sure it was the battery and not the wireless charging coil, as there is no way a phone will stay on with the battery disconnected.

Hi @valleyvu , By viewfinder I assume you mean the LCD monitor? Try taking a photo, (I realize that you cannot ‘see’ what you are taking) and download it to a computer and check what the picture is like. If you have a good picture then there is a problem with the motherboard passing on a new picture onto the LCD monitor....

Chosen Solution Hi, i’ve accidentally damaged the flex of the front speaker / illuminator assembly. so FaceID isn’t working now, couldn’t set ip up, no particular error message. Front Camera is working expect the portrait animoji is working good. so I assume on of the sensor is affected and my question is simple : is the FaceID functions will be still available if i replace the full front speaker/sensor module ?...

Chosen Solution A 19,1 iMac purchased from OWC won’t complete the upgrade to Monterey from Big Sur 11.6.4. Research indicates that an EFI update fails if a third-party internal drive/SSD is installed. Apple says the OEM drive isn’t user-replaceable, and it’s the third party’s fault. OWC says that it’s Apple’s fault, only offering to send a loaner to update the EFI. Has anybody had this problem? Was a solution found that didn’t involve taking apart the iMac and swapping drives?...

Chosen Solution hi my 2008 20" i mac intel 2.66mz with 4mb ram and 500 gb hard drive refuses to run. It carried out an automatic update a couple of weeks ago, then just kept switching itself on and off every few seconds. I have disconnected the power a lot of times for between 15 seconds and 12 hours to try ALL the different start/troubleshooting commands that I could find listed without any success so I then swapped the hard drive for a second hand one + password and the mac started using the password I got with the hard drive with previous disc owners data on it....

I have an intel dg31gl motherborad which has audio problem in win7 32bit os when I installed correct drivers from intel site still doesn’t work it shows realtec high definition installed but sound icon shows in red saying No audio output device installed and I tried update windows shows already installed and then I disabled audio from bios and restarted the pc and then enabled still doesn’t work....

Chosen Solution I have sort of an odd problem that I was hoping someone in the community could give me a hand with. My iPad 4th gen wifi has some odd issues with the lock button. Not only does it not work (even after replacing the lock button/volume ribbon) when the iPad was in use the assistive touch menu would not even lock the device. I was wondering if that could indicate the problem being more logic-based or if it was perhaps a fault in the board that connects the headphone jack, cameras, and lock/volume buttons to the logic board?...

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have an iphone 3gs that wont boot past the apple logo then shuts off, then won’t turn on at all. it’s a 3gs board, screen and charging port/sound module, with 3g case, battery, flex cable w/buttons,camera. One of my friends told me that the 3g camera is not compatable with the 3gs firmware. I know this sounds like a mess lol. btw : i noticed that the little gold prong next to the power port on the logic board is buckled up and not touching the metal frame…....

Is it possible to replace the supporting frame only?? or should i replace with the front glass also?? regards, Reynaldi Widya I have never seen the frame for sale by itself; I think it’s part of the front glass and you will have to replace the whole assembly.

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 5s that went through the washing machine about last year in august and was sent in for repair one day later, and it was fixed and worked fine, but last month, this phone started to enter bootloops ramdomly. For the first 2 times that it entered bootloop, I could get it out by connecting it to itunes, restoring it and praying for error 9 or error 4014 to not appear, but now it is completely stuck on “looping” between the apple logo screen, a black screen and a off screen and is not detected by itunes....

Chosen Solution Yesterday I was cleaning away some of the fluff from the speakers, microphone and docking port with a toothpickI don’t remember if I ran it around the home button. Shortly after (maybe about 30 minutes later), I noticed that the home button was becoming unresponsive. It would work once every 5 clicks or so. Once I got home, I started looking at different fixes. So far I have tried a soft restart, power down and restart, update iOS, reset settings (I haven’t restored it to factory settings), open clock to re-calibrate the home button, re-align the docking port....

Chosen Solution Mouse pad Button is stuck and I need a replacement, donor or otherwise. Please advise. A less expensive answer if you want to go that way would be to simply use an external USB mouse. If the button is stuck in the on position you may need to disconnect the trackpad cable to operate properly. Ralph You would need to replace the upper case.
