Chosen Solution I don’t know if you were able to fix the display issue or not but I ran into a similar problem as you with only 3 LEDs lighting up on boot, after I upgraded the processor, airport extreme card and swapped the HDD for an SSD. I also thought that I might have broken the LCD connectors or might have done something to damage the logic board but that did not turn out to be the issue....

Chosen Solution I have a vintage Imperial 520 Sewing Machine whose mechanism is stiff, and wont run freely, to the point where only cranking by hand works - too much for the motor. I have narrowed down the problem to the drive shaft that spins the bobbin holder 180 degrees - it’s quite stiff. I tried 3in1 motor machine oil, but that made it worse. I’d like to take it apart and give it a good cleaning, but there is a cam attached to the shaft by some kind of pin (see image, center, a little out of focus)...

Chosen Solution After replacing an ink cartridge, the carriage moved to the right and did not return. I checked “troubleshooting” and followed the steps indicated, but the condition of the carriage did not change. It sounds like the cartridge is binding the carriage. Unplug the unit and physically move the carriage to the center. Check that you have the proper cartridge and that it firmly installed. Plug in the unit and turn it on....

Chosen Solution have a intermediate miss trk runs fine for awhile 40 0r 50 miles I can stop get back in start it runs fine then it starts missing engine light will come on briefly then runs fine took it to mech ran diagnostic showed a bad distributor sensor replaced distrib. still doin it ohmed wires they all seemed fine checked plugs all ok any suggestions would be appreciated @rjw69 not all misses are created by your electrical system the miss your describing sounds more like a fuel miss....

Chosen Solution Hi! Two iMac EMC 2308 have come into my hands. One of them does not turn on, and another has broken LVDS connector at motherboard I bought a new LVDS connector to replace the broken one (it has been really complicated to weld with non-professional equipment) and also noticed that inverter board was broken (missing pins for flex inverter cable) So, I took apart inverter board from the one that does not power on and noticed they are physically identical despite the fact that the reference number is different: one is V267-707HF while the other one is V267-702HF....

Chosen Solution Hi. I have a customer that shattered the glass of one of the cameras (the bottom one) of his iPhone 12 Pro. Does anyone have parts recommendations for replacing this? I found this listing but it says it is only compatible with the 12 Pro max. I would be surprised if the glass is a different dimension than some of the older phones. Seems like Union Repair is also carrying the lens replacements for the iPhone 12 Pro

Chosen Solution It’s so weird that it won’t charge. I only noticed because I like to charge all of the devices I work on so when the person comes back for it, they can have it working right away for them. And when I plugged it in, it didn’t charge. The phone recognized it was plugged in because the dead battery icon with lighting bolt went away when I plugged it in, however, it never turned on or charged even being plugged in overnight....

Chosen Solution Hey, So I just recently changed the battery and the screen for my iPhone 6 Plus and it is not turning on, I tested the screen by using the backup power source (plug in with battery cable disconnected) and the Apple logo showed and everything looked fine. Chosen Solution my screen is cracked and i need to fix it if i want to get a upgrade on my plan. i want to get it repaired somewhere with out sending away for a new phone all together are you needing to upgrade and trade the phone in now or in a few months? Chosen Solution I’m having trouble changing the blade. I’m using a piece of wood to stop the blade from turn as I loosen the nut, but the blade spindle is turn instead. Is there a way to stop that from spinning too? Easiest way is to use a pneumatic or electric impact wrench. You can hold the blade with your hand to do that. You might want to use gloves if the blade is at all sharp....

Chosen Solution How to fix the winding arm on the camera pharaoh3d , Make sure the rewind button isn’t stuck on the bottom of the camera and the rewind crank is pressed in and flush. Chosen Solution I found out about you on MacPowerUsers… but not until I bought screen, plastic device for prying and adhesive for from another company. Thought I could take screen off by prying. Nope. Have been waiting for suction cup from other supplier for WAY TOO LONG (I’m sure it’s lost in the mail.) but now I found you and your instructions. I fear my screen may be too cracked for suction cup anyway....

Chosen Solution This is my progress on removing the anti-glare coating after 2 hours. I tried Listerine, 90% alcohol, Peek Metal Polish, anti-bacterial wipes, bleach, and nail polish remover w/ acetone (before I read that someone else damaged the glass itself because of acetone). Luckily, my glass is still fine. Unfortunately, I haven’t made much progress as you can see from the picture. I’m confused to why none of the solutions isn’t working for me....
