Chosen Solution Ok so I had a guy bring me an iPad 5th Generation in to my shop with a cracked Digitizer to get repaired. While testing it I noticed the battery shows 1%, so I plug it in to charger and once the charger recognizes it shoots to 100% and will stay on for about 10 seconds then shuts off and turns back on at one percent, within a few seconds shoots back up to 100% and just keeps cycling through....
Chosen Solution So, I got an iPad Air that was not turning on. I got it to come on for a minute somehow and it had even charged to 100% battery. I used it for a few minutes (playing a game) and it just randomly died as if the battery had drained. Somehow I got it to come on one more time and the battery was down a few percent. The customer asked me to change out the battery, so I decided that would be my next move....
Chosen Solution I am reassembling my powerbook after replacing the display inverter. I want to put the heat sink back on the processor (and other chips as well below it?), but the thermal paste guide pictures and my situation look different. It appears that any paste is a bit more like a pad than I thought, though the stuff on the processor is likely some thick colored paste. My main concern is with the pads: The pads seem about one or two millimeters thick....

I removed the display and rerouted the wifi wires around the dvd drive. Everything works well, but when it turns on, it thinks that the display is open so it uses the external monitor as a second display. When I put it to sleep and wake it up, same thing....

It worked perfectly. Chosen Solution Hi, So I don’t know how, but I have somehow managed to snap the pentalobe screw brackets from the screen. The pentalobe screws still sit in the device and hold the metal brackets (which are meant to hold the phone screen in place). Other than purchasing a new screen, are there any cheaper alternatives to fixing this? No other equal alternatives, since brackets hold screw pressure you can’t glue them....

Chosen Solution I restored my OS, not knowing that the one before was windows 8.1 and I already had windows 10. I don’t have a windows.old folder nor a recovery point. I really want my old OS back so please help! I am currently running windows 8.1 because I am an idiot. Here are some things to try, I’m assuming that the computer used the manufacturers restore point to go back to factory defaults, and I’m assuming that you used the free Windows 10 upgrade, with that said try going into Windows update and try updating until it says you are up to date, if it still has not upgraded to win....

Chosen Solution I accidently turned it off on startup and it wont boot to the splash screen now the screen just flashes a slight green and it wont let me go into the Bios to boot from a USB flash drive to install windows 8.1. Chosen Solution On Step 25, I disconnected the cable nearest to the fan instead of the one on the opposite side. This is the one UNDER the white tape, and when I tried to remove the black plug from the white insert, the white insert detached from the board. Yeah, now I know: DUMB MOVE! However, I cannot figure out where and how to reconnect the white insert to the board....

Chosen Solution Hi, My iPhone 7’s battery health is 83%, but a couple of weeks ago it started draining, like in a test, I restored it, pulled the sim, no iCloud id, no apps, just connected to Wi-Fi, charged to 42% and after about 8-10 hours it was dead. No activity. I have restored/updated multiple times. After that I went to an Apple Authorized Center, they ran diagnosis, and told me battery tests passed and since its 83% they won’t replace, and told me its most probably some board/port issue....

Chosen Solution My wife and myself have separate Apple iPod touches 2nd gen. We each listen to different music and videos. I set up two separate iTunes libraries on my laptop PC (Compaq R4000) to sync the iPods to iTunes. My touch syncs correctly….apps, music and videos. My wife’s touch syncs the apps ok but it appears that there is no sync with video and music. iTunes does a backup and then appears to sync but no new music is transferred to the iPod from her iTunes library....
