Chosen Solution Yesterday, I was sitting in stairs and using my laptop. Don’t know how my phone my dropped from my trouser’s pocket and fell downward the stairs. After this tragedy, my phone’s power button, volume buttons and vibration motor lost their functionality. Please, suggest me solution or what to do to, so that they start working again. Thanks in advance. Chances are that the volume / power / vibrate ribbon cable assembly got damaged from the drop....

Chosen Solution Hello, recently i bought a new Full HD bravia TV. With a good quality HDMI cable (version 1.4) I have a white dot that appears to the left of the center of the screen when i watch a bluray movie or play a game. it is not a dead pixel since it only appears when a BD is inserted and sometimes it flickers. I triedd to clean the ps3, change the hdmi but the dot is still here....

Chosen Solution I need this screw. Can you help? I am a computer repair store and my tech lost this screw for the battery connection. 7.0 mm T7 Torx shouldered screw I’m not aware of any torx screws connected with the battery. Are you sure it’s not a tri-wing?

I recharged my ipod on another device and it worked. Try fully charging your iPod before you attempt to do anything with it. After charging then connect to your computer and it will find and load software. These iPods don’t do anything on a part charge....

Chosen Solution Hello all, I got an iphone 5s in that had non working touch. The guy said after flexing it / twissting it once it started to work again - But then stopped after the update to 11.1.1 Naturally I suspected the one of the 2 touch IC’s had a cracked trace/ball/pad under it. I reflew them and the touch started working again - almost. The power off slider - just as it is getting to the end - will freak out....

Chosen Solution Hi, so my iPad air A1474 is not charging but works and screen turns on but whats weird is I looked inside charger port and seems clean and when power off and plug in charger port it powers on but still doesn’t charge battery. Chosen Solution Recently when I turned my iPad on, i saw that two thirds of its screen keep black. After a while the dark spots change their color. Although the touchscreen is still working even on the broken spots, it’s pretty useless without a functional display. My question is: Is it just the LCD which is broken or is it worse (Logic Board, etc.)? Second question: If I want to replace the LCD myself, do I need a replacement specifically for the 3G iPad or can I use a replacement labeled as (WiFi) iPad LCD?...

I replaced my battery and after replacing home button and charging port and mic not working. I didnt check my headphones jack and cant do it since my battery is dead and i cant recharge it. Weird thing is if i connect my charger to a completely powered off phone then it shows up that empty battery image, so it does recognize my charger somehow....

Till date he has tried putting 4 such IC’s but no gain. I can buy new IC online and give it to him but he tells me not to do so, he will manage....

Chosen Solution I accidentally peeled the orange cable off of the connector. Can I reconnect the cable with the connector? I’m only asking this because here in my country I can’t order a replacement headphone jack and there are not so many A1040s around. Topo Ceni, most likely not. It sounds like you tore the ribbon cable. The only way to fix that is to replace the complete jack. I have a couple laying around, email me if you need me to send you one:-)

Chosen Solution After frequent use of the slot(swapping cartridges), one or more of the metal strips which make contact to the cartridge’s metal strips on the inside of the slot has bended thus making the DSi unable to read cards, and when inserting a new card, there are times where the bended strip(s) would touch others and cause the DSi to shut off. There’s also a chance that inserting a card will bend the bended strip in until it breaks, which already happened to one of them on mine....

Chosen Solution Ex-spouse had set-up remote access initially to access work info from home and vice-versa, also to link up our then 2 other notebooks being used by out-state college children via I believe a home group system setting. Windows 10 is in use and i see the screen is saying the notebook is part of a work group. How can I definitively check if he is remoting in to this HP via his windows program, or the Xfinity modem with the Windows key where he may be able to override the security settings/my administrator status, or possibly override what looks to be a work group configuration?...
