With tablet off, press and hold the power and volume up buttons simultaneously. Hold for 10-15 seconds, this should enter into boot menu. Chosen Solution This one was purchased with a bad battery, per the seller. I am not sure if it’s a 5 or 5.5, but I do not see the search function so I BELIEVE it is a 5th gen, and not a 5.5 if memory serves me right. Anyway, as you can see the unit turned on despite the seller having a problem getting it to turn on themselves :-). However, I let it sit on the charger for ~20-30 minutes or so and it turned right off within a few seconds once I got it to my desk to plug into my computer to see if I needed to erase the iPod and replace the library....

Chosen Solution says authentication error occured. It sounds like the password to the signal was changed. What you need to do is go into Settings –> Wifi, and find that WiFI profile. Select it, and choose “Forget”. Once that is done it will ask for a new password when you try to reconnect to it.

Chosen Solution This question is like many others and i tried all the things i can do and came to the conclusion that it has to do something with hardware but i am not entirely sure what happened to the phone but i am sure it wasn’t water damage or of the sort, I am wondering if there is something else i can do to get it to recover without spending money or sending it anywhere,I tried to put it into dfu mode but it would just bring up the apple logo again and i tried it with only the screen connected it didn’t work and when i used third party software it just asks me to pay upwards of 40 dollars i replaced the battery but this problem was happening before, i also tried two different cords but it gets me error 4013 most of the time, sometimes 9 and i even got -18 once....

So I purchased a new screen and I was fortunate to have a rear housing from another dead 6S. Everything was working perfectly before the fall, I transplanted the logic board, speaker, battery and power flex from the smashed case, to the straight one with almost no issues, data is there, everything working fine except the flash will not respond at all, whether I use the flash light function or camera....

I will post a link to a disassembly video to get you inside the speaker to check the charge port and will also post a link showing what is involved in repairing/micro soldering a mini USB attached to the board(not your speaker, just an example of what may be required) as your USB port does not even sit in the same position....
