Could you help me ? heat = a short on the board. You need to desolder the EMI shields in order to expose most of the board. Find the components that are oxidized–reflow the solder on those components and replace those that are damaged....
Chosen Solution Iphone 5s was submerged in salt water. It was removed from salt water and rinsed/submerged in fresh water to hopefully get rid of salt. It then placed in container of rice for several days. Will not power back up or indicate charging when plugged in. Any suggestions? take the board out following the ifixit teardown, once the board is out clean it using alcohol solution(not vodka) then hope leave to dry, put the board in and hopefully it will work, but if anything is corroded or damage, it may need more work...
Chosen Solution Have an iPhone 6 I’m looking at and it does not turn on with a known working cable or different battery. I’ve tried to switch the silent switch on and off and it does not vibrate, not even when holding down the power button after the battery has been plugged up. What else could I do to troubleshoot? Chosen Solution I found a lg power on eBay for 12 dollars, it has a cracked screen and has a pin lock for Mcaffe security. It says it has been pin locked. Is there an equivalent to Odin for LG? Chosen Solution I successfully replaced the screen and digitizer, but before resealing the ipod, I dropped it–and the flex cable detached from the digitizer. (I don’t think it is ripped or damaged, just detached.) If I remove the plate again and take out the digitizer, can I just glue the flex cable to the digitizer, or does it insert or something? FYI, I never rewrapped the copper conductive tape over the digitizer....

I would like to know if there is a resistor. dealer says that there is not one. online says there is one… where is it located? albert enstin there is no separate resistor other than the one in the relay. Since you already replaced the relayI’d suggest you check to ensure that you have power to the fuel pump relay....

Chosen Solution I have an late 2012 iMAC that does not power up. It was fine the day before and didn’t do anything a day later. When I connect the power cord I can hear a slight sound. Thereafter nothing happens when I press the power bottom. Pressing it for longer time does not help either nor does it help to reset the SMC. The shift caps led on the keyboard is not working....

Grab it by the short side and you’ll never have this problem. once the connector is damaged, it is a straightforward job for mail in logic board repair or your local microsolderer....
