Chosen Solution Purchased a replacement battery from iFixit but the battery is not recognised. Have tried an SMC reset but this hasn’t remedied the situation. I attach a screen grab of the coconutBattery app running: battery has 0 charge cycles. Your screenshot uploading failed, so please update. Would be interesting to know why you replaced your older battery, but if that one didn’t charge either, you might have a logic board issue at charging circuitry....

Chosen Solution Okay, I know there are a lot of posts about this but frankly, I’m sick of all the garbage and unclear responses… I am curious to know if ALL iPhone 4S rear panels are compatable with eachother. (GSM and CDMA panels are interchangeable) I am not talking about iPhone 4 but the iPhone 4S I currently have a CDMA iPhone 4S and need a new backing for the rear assembly, I am just curious as to weather or not all 4S backings are interchangeable....

Chosen Solution My bios update got interrupted now it will not boot fans come on for 2-3 seconds then shuts off I’ve tried taking the CMOS battery out switching rams around switching hard drives around discharging the power I’m not sure what else to try other than the jumpers but I can’t find them I don’t think this can be fixed without reflashing the BIOS. I’m really not sure how to do this with a corrupted BIOS....

Chosen Solution Everyone asked about removing the glue I’m trying to remove The Shard glass from the LCD frame area before I even get to the glue issue does it require Heat or some kind of adhesive remover thank you Heat is result your friend when it comes to these acceeen replacements. The glass is help together to the bezel by strong adhesive. Be sure and not get it too hot....

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2020, if that helps) and the screen is unresponsive, and it looks like I need to have someone repair it instead. I have tried almost everything, like restarting it or completely erasing the device… I heard it was super expensive, so am I better off just getting a new tablet?...

Chosen Solution Company I work for is moving offices and scrapping all our tech gear. Snagged an iPad but after restore its MDM locked. Need help bypassing. iPad 5th gen. Lte enabled. It’s implemented on the Apple activation servers, the server knows this ipad belongs to the company and has MDM enforced during activation. You can always talk to the IT department to release it from MDM, or you can replace the major chips to swap identity of this ipad, probably costs as much as the ipad itself....

Chosen Solution I know trackpads on this kind of macbook pro are known for geting stuck BUT, How do i fix mine??? Thanks. I would stat off by taking it out so you can properly clean the trackpads case edge and the trackpad as well. Update (02/07/2022) @beanman56 - Make sure the click switch is not damaged, you should be able to press on it to get it to click. I use a small coin placed on top so the pressure is even....

Chosen Solution put memory chip in dvd slot by mistake and it is stuck inside Update Thanks folks decided to get Apple to doit on this occasion as DVD drive was previously very noisy and should be replaced under Applecare plan. Thanks for the swift reply - cheers Check this earlier question.

Chosen Solution It red ring of deathed, turned out to be the disc drive was goofing up and i fixed it by plugging the ide cable back in again. How do i put the top on? I got the front metal clips to clip but cant get the ones on the back of it to clip into place Hi! Actually, the top case goes right on. First the back side and then the left-right side - front side (worked for me)....

Chosen Solution How can I see the recorded memory from this device LW2744 in a personal computer Hi @albertorb , Have you tried inserting the SD card from the system into a card reader that is connected to the computer, you didn’t say? A lot of laptops already have a card reader in them but most desktop PC would need a USB card reader (examples only) connected to them. The problem then may be what video file format is being used by the device....

After fixing problems at the BT phoneline exchange, the lan cables in the house work OK, but I can’t sign in to the router. When I get to the window to type in the router key, the Dell just beeps and won’t let me type. The router is on Channel 9. I also notice an illuminated locked padlock on the Dell keyboard, bearing the number 9....

Chosen Solution Would a copy ipad 5th gen Home button work in a ipad air? The iPad Air 1 and iPad 5th gen use different home buttons, they do not work vice-versa as I found out the hard way. Make sure the replacement screen either comes with the button or transfer the old button to the new screen (make sure when doing transfer that you clean old adhesive well and apply good adhesive (Tesa 4695 / 61395 or similar double sided tape) for the metal bracket before installing)....

Chosen Solution i tore the copper grounding tape on the screen backing plate. Will it still work? It will work no issues having it either on or off. I’ve even had screen replacements on iPhone 5C / 5S where there were no copper grounding tape behind the front camera ribbon cable assembly (basically was removed before) and had no issues there.

Chosen Solution My MBP has an intermittent behaviour and does not turn on most of the time. But when it does, another problem occurs - there is no image on the screen (already read about NVIDIA chip issue). I have taken the MBP to two authorized shops. The first one said they were able to reproduce the NVIDIA problem, but they did not have the diagnostics software to generate an authorization code for repairing under the recall....

Chosen Solution I recently successfully followed the fixit battery replacement guide as my old battery was only lasting 1/2 day. It was not as successful as I’d hopes as later on I noticed that when people call the phone vibrates, but does not ring…Oops! Now I can’t find a way to get the ringer to sound for incoming calls or texts, the phone still works and I can answer the call and hear/talk ok....
