Chosen Solution Replacing the battery was no small task but went well. I followed the directions of letting the battery discharge, then charge to 100% then discharge and charge to 100% again, then continue with normal use. However, that normal use will get me to 25% remaining life and then the laptop will shut itself down. I have reset both the SMC and the NVRAM. Laptop seems to function fine other than that....

Chosen Solution Hi all. SMC reset didn’t help. Imac was working fine then suddenly one day no sign of life. LED #1 doesn’t even turn on. I’m thinking a fuse or power-supply needs replacing? Chosen Solution A tiny insect managed to crawl between the glass and display of my iMac 5k screen. I tried a vacuum cleaner on the air vents but it doesn’t come out. I Rather not try a canned air spray that might add more stuff into my mac. Off course this happened after the warranty ran out. Any tips on this? Oh Boy! Apple sealed the cover glass to the LCD so technically there is no way the insect could get in at your home or office....

Chosen Solution I actually have a 2001 GMC Sonoma with a 2.2l, the fields wouldn’t let me select that. Anyway, I put a new starter in and when I went to reconnect the battery o got some significant sparks…. Well, it cranked right up but after trying a couple times it acted like it didn’t want to crank, then it lost all electrical power. Sometimes it cranks smoothly, sometimes it cranks rough, others it doesn’t do anything....

Chosen Solution Internal hard drive became super slow to startup, (over 5 minutes). Also any task took longer, (about 10 times longer.) Zapped pram, rebuilt permissions, and repaired disk, no improvement. Disk utility, and techTool both reported OK, but took forever to run the tests. Replaced internal drive with new, same results. Everything is fine when starting from a cloned system on any external drive. (firewire,usb,flash, all work fine.) I now suspect the HD cable, HD controller, or power supplies....

Chosen Solution sorry to answer that late (ok, it’s 05:42am ;-)) - i think it’s a connection problem - so, yes - open it again and check all the connections, search for broken parts in the area around the “do not remove” sticker CLICK for a HUGEer version of the picture CLICK for a HUGEer version of the picture check both sides - the circuits around the golden spring are for the antenna - so if there is a problem - it might lead to those problems....

Chosen Solution Hi my iPhone 5 logo flashing when I press power and home but on its turn on black what I do rply plz Nau Sheen , You may have to try a factory reset as issue may be caused by corrupt App/software. Chosen Solution Last Nov 2017 I tried upgrading my IPhone 6 to IOS 11.0 and it struck in the reboot cycle. I’m trying to troubleshoot it now. When I went to apple store they said its dead and it giving “4005” error. They have asked me to pay $300 to trade in for another IPhone 6. I’m sure there should be a way to fix this. please help. Take it to a phone repair shop to get them to fix it or use a windows computer with 3utools or iTunes installed to restore / update the phone....

Chosen Solution My iphone 6s dropped and screen glass broke. After glass replacement, my mic on handsfree is acting wierd. When on handsfree, the voice does not get through (and voice echoes) when I make an internet call (on Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, facebook Messenger etc). At the same time when on handsfree it works fine with Siri, Voice memo, camera recording and phone call. I did an experiment with front and back camera recordings....

How do I replace the CD/DVD drive in my Acer Aspire 5100 (Model BL51)? I can eject a disc with a paperclip, but I suspect there is a loose cable on the drive or it needs replaced unless there is another way to load a different device driver if it is not hardware related....

Chosen Solution I just replaced the screen and battery on two iPhone 6s. Problem is, when i assembled the phone, the phone had problem determining the battery health and there was a White pressure spot on the screen (just where the metal plate protecting the battery cable, is placed). If i remove the plate completly both the pressure spot and the battery determing problem is gone. So my question is: is the metal plate important or can i keep it removed?...

Chosen Solution I purchased the screen that included the camera. After switching it out, the Siri microphone worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped working. While the pre-populated screens make the replacement process easier, you are forgoing a high quality original FCAM/Sensor flex for an aftermarket quality flex. I would remove the FCAM flex and replace it with the original from your damaged screen (unless the FCAM was damaged too)....
