Chosen Solution Hello After changing the disk on the SSD, a gray vertical bar appeared on my screen.After the next opening I had a few colored vertical stripes on the screen.I opened it again and I drank the tape on the power and plugged in. Now the screen is black. Make it start (dong ) there is a fan but no image. On the main board only 3 LEDs are light but the last 4 Led is off....
Chosen Solution I just completed the very long replacement guide “iPad 4 GSM Front Panel Replacement”. The process went relatively well and before I closed up the unit I powered it on and was able to confirm the LCD and digitizer were working and I also logged in successfully and was able to pick up WiFi networks (just to check that the WiFi antenna was okay). Then I proceeded to button up the unit, trying to guide the funny home button ribbon cable as best I could to close it....

Chosen Solution I can not get the iPhone 5s home button bracket off. I don’t know if I’m using the wrong tool, 000 Phillips (purchased off ifixit), or it’s just too tight. The screws do not look like the traditional plus sign in a lot of the photos I’ve seen online. Any ideas? I’m also not sure how to upload photos on this so you all can see what I am dealing with....
Chosen Solution I have changed the screen and battery on an iPhone 6s. I have changed probably hundreds of Apple lcds successfully. Here is what I know: Initially changed a smashed screen, the new screen worked but the phone was saying it needed to be reinstalled via iTunes. When trying to reseat the screen I could see that the battery was inflated, so ordered and fitted a new OEM battery. When rebooting, the screen was black but you could see a dim glow around the edges....
Chosen Solution What’could be the cause no spills or drops someone help please!!! both front facing and rear facing cameras are on opposite connections and separated by shielding. The front facing is attached to the screen assembly itself and is shielded.if both are out it is one of 3 things: water damage, impact damage or most likely the Camera regulator ic ( U2301 ) reballed and needs to be replaced (logic board problem)

I have a water damaged iPhone 6s, that with a known good battery in will draw exactly 0.435A when plugged in and just sits there, I get no display and nothing else happens. Chosen Solution This is my “old computer” (‘96). I want to recycle it, after checking to see what is on it. I don’t have the manual, nor do I see a “power on” button. Press the button in the very upper right hand corner. Have it plugged in as the battery is surely drained down.
Chosen Solution I have got a Samsung galaxy S5 from my brother and it has a broken camera and I was just wondering how much it would cost to get it fixed. I don’t think anyone would fix it on that specific model because just to open up the phone it requires taking out the screen which almost always breaks when removing it. A replacement screen costs $110 which means it’s not worth fixing if any hardware inside other than the screen goes faulty....

If I use lightroom classic cpu temperature goes to 99c,100c .. and then it may get lower to 80c and so on .. Do I need to replace cpu thermal paste after 6 years normal usage? My iMac is open since I have replaced blade ssd and sata ssd....

I don’t like giving people advice that has great potential to put them in a worse situation than where they are before I gave them advice. My first suggestion to you is to replace the LCD. You can find one here. Now I don’t believe that the LCD could have received that liquid damage without the rest of the phone being exposed to it also....
Chosen Solution turn steering grinding noise I have new rack & pending (maybe bushing) and struts need to be replaced bumping up and down. can you give replacing info? greg.proctor48 , The grinding noise you here is probably the strut bearings seized, which may have even broke a front spring or check power steering pump for fluid level or if noise coming from there. First see if have enough free space to do the update. Next boot into Safe mode to turn off anything that may be interfering with the update. Chosen Solution So I just got an iPhone 6 from a friend. It has a broken screen, and from the looks of it, it may have a broken display as well. I have plugged it in to multiple chargers to see if it would show any signs of life. No vibration when I plugged it in, none when I held the power button, and none other than that. I plugged it multiple computers with multiple cords, and they did not recognize that something was plugged in at all....
Chosen Solution Battery wont charge but the cable works on other devices. Looks like it’s a moderately easy fix. Imagine my fingers going up and down. There’s about three cables that need to be removed, and a new charging port put on. The charging port is held down by two screws. But, it does sound like you could easily damage your device, attempting this repair, if your not experienced in these kine things...
Chosen Solution there is no sound coming from my computer after upgrading to windows vista ABUBAKARR, check in device manager to make sure that your sound card shows up. If it worked before but stopped because of the update, get a driver for the HP that works under Vista from here. Uninstall the device, then reinstall with the new driver. Hope this helps, good luck. Chosen Solution The fasteners look like an allen head with a pin in the middle. Looks like you would need an allen wrench with a tiny hole drilled in the middle of it. Any ideas what/where I could get a tool like this? @toolbag it sounds like you are talking about the tamper resistant Allen screws. It is a security feature that is easily circumventeed wit tool kits like like these....

The 30GB and 80GB zune have HDD so there you may have some luck with recovering from the HDD....
