When you put in the gas was the 5 gallons fresh gas that you just got or was it something you had in a can for a long time ? Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iCloud locked 5s and I’m thinking about using the hardware method to unlock it. (Change EMMC, EEPROM and Baseband) if I do this, will it change my IMEI? I don’t really want it to, because then the logic boards IMEI won’t match the one on the housing. I think it will. I do not recommend doing a hardware unlock, there are plently of websites out there that can help you....

Chosen Solution Removed logic board to clean it in an ultrasonic bath. The board suffered mild (but strategic) water damage. I let it dry for 24 hours before re-installing it. I believe I had at least 10% on the battery, but I cannot verify. I am not sure if water reached the battery connector. Phone was in Recovery Mode waiting for an iTunes connection. When plugging in for the first time into an Apple charger, I get the expected Apple logo (black on white) and then the white iTunes icon with the Lightning cable icon (requiring me to connect to iTunes)....
Chosen Solution My iPhone 5S (just the board, charging port, battery, screen and home button) boots into recovery even after successfully restoring i iTunes. I’ve tried the reboot out of recovery software programs and nothing works. The battery isn’t defective, It’ll only hold a charge for about 2 hours mixed use. This actually damaged both the home button flex cable that connects to the motherboard, as well as the home button’s cable itself.
