Chosen Solution I’m trying to repair a Chargeasap Flash 2.0 battery pack I received in non working order. The pack says it charges to 100% but won’t turn on and resets to 0%. I have removed labels from top and bottom and removed 6 screws from bottom plastic end but can’t seem to get battery assembly to slide out of metal case. Anybody have an idea how to get battery module out of case?...
Chosen Solution As I was replacing my screen, I thought I had disconected the battery. Well I didn’t so when I was tring to plug in the home button, there was a small puff of smoke from near where the home button plug is. After I completed the assembly, everything seems to work except the home button. I was about to start throwing parts at it to see if I could fix it but I figured I should at least look for a fix online....

The cheaper one does not come with these parts, and will need to be transferred from your old display or purchased separately....
Chosen Solution If I take the screen off can I use polarized glasses to see the screen or the picture? @nytryder26 not quite sure which screen you want to take off. The display assembly consist of (simplified) the LCD panel, Diffuser and polarizer sheets. So, you do not want to remove the polarizer sheets but mount those in reverse (flip those over inside out). Accidentally have done this before and it’s quite interesting ;-) Yes, you can use polarized glasses to watch the TV all by yourself :-)

If you tell us what model your phone is we can probably help you better. you also want to post some images of what your screen displays with your question. Then we can see what you see. Chosen Solution My 17inch iMac G5 will randomly power itself off. At first i thought it was overheating, so i opened it up and cleaned all the fans and vents to make sure there was no excessive dust and that they all spun freely. I put it back together, and i’ve noticed that sometimes i’ll power it on and it’ll shut itself off after 5 minutes, other times it’ll allow me to capture a video from my camera, convert it, and then burn it to disk....
Chosen Solution Hey guys, I had a customer bring in an iPad 7 updating OTA to 14.7.1. During the update, it was charging and the customer left and came back to it to find a black screen. iTunes will not work and of course Apple told him to kick rocks. We have both tried various software to reflash it, including 3U Tools, but we are not having any luck. In my attempts, 3U Tools would start flashing the firmware, and when it tried booting into recovery mode from DFU mode it would never succeed....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone in water a week ago(What and what not to do after dropping your iPhone in water?). I cleaned it up and noticed no visible signs of damage. The phone is working now, except for two issues. The power button does not work(The flash works so I guess its the faulty button and not the flex cable) Once a while the phone restarts and gets stuck in a boot loop....

Chosen Solution Hello, My optical view finder lens has become dislodged (It moves when I jiggle the camera). I’m not sure how it happened, but I reckon someone dropped the camera. The rest of the camera works fine (all buttons, screen, autofocus, etc…), I just have to use the screen to take pictures, and it is not very practical (super slow focusing). Even though I am comfortable with following this guide, I’d like to be sure it will give me access to the lens area, as opening up devices like these (even for professionals) involves some risks....

Here is what I mean by “kind of” works: I have a passcode, so after turning on my iPad after I replaced the screen, it requested me to enter my passcode. Chosen Solution It only happened maybe 40 minutes ago, it spilled around the arrow keys up to the delete button. It turns on and everything but when I’m typing the | line keeps jumping to the beginning of the paragraph or sentence. I assume maybe its not completely dry? Hopefully… Hi @noobious , Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power (if connected) and remove the battery from the laptop. This will prevent any further damage from occurring....
