Chosen Solution Hi! Yesterday I replaced a busted digitizer on my iPad Air. Checked to see if everything was working properly before seating the digitizer, except for seeing if it charged properly. So I plugged it in to the correct charger and have had no luck getting it to charge properly. Chosen Solution Alright, I have read almost every article in here and can’t find a fix. A customer brought in an iPhone 6 plus (all original). The touchscreen wouldnt work for anything. I followed many steps, before even attempting a restore and it wouldnt work. So I did the restore and finally got it to extract the software (customer had a passcode on it), so even after a factory restore, the touchscreen still doesnt work....

Chosen Solution Just finished up with an iPhone 6s screen repair and water damage repair. The iPhone was dropped in a toilet a few weeks before, and would not power up or connect to iTunes. After letting it completely dry, I replaced the battery and charging port, and took off the EMI shield stickers off the logic board and soaked and lightly scrubbed in 99% alcohol. After putting everything back together when completely dry…I tested it with a replacement screen…....

Chosen Solution I took the screw out of the back of the device and now I can’t get the back panel off. If you follow the steps on one of our repair or replacement guides, this should give you a good idea of how to take off the back panel. Since you already have taken out the screw. Just slide off the back panel by pushing on the back and moving it upwards....

Chosen Solution How would I go about repairing n64 consoles with ports that don’t detect any controllers, or disconnect when jiggled or moved? I can’t seem to find any replacement ports, so is this just a re-solder and cleaning job? Thanks. I would try to re-solder it. Had the problem, too and it worked, after I re-soldered it.

Chosen Solution You mark the drive board as original before changing out the laser. What I would do so desolder the motor cables and transfer the board only if it came as a whole drive. Otherwise I would do a laser caddy transplant which involves removing the 4 screws that go on the rubber standoffs. To remove the whole laser assembly in one go. You need to check the models of the drivee before buying one....

Chosen Solution giving old iphone to daughter and want to remove all information and the newest software update that I shouldn’t have updated to remove new update you’ll have to download the old iphone software. google ipsw 3.1.2 or whichever it is that you want. put phone in recovery, plugged in to itunes and when itunes says it has found a phone in recovery mode you’ll need to press alt and click on restore (in itunes)(sorry this is for a mac, don’t know the exact path for windows but it’s probably on the site you get the ipsw from) then select ipsw you want to restore to....

Chosen Solution What I really need to know is how do you align this small metal bracket when placing it on the adhesive back of the glas lcd/digitizer? The bracket has a few small tabs that must line up with particular spaces in the case for the entire glass screen to line up and close. I know there are lines scribed onto the back of the lcd/digitizer assembly, but since my daughter’s old glass was shattered in this area, I could not see how they lined up with the bracket....

Chosen Solution i was trying to fix my 2ds screen when it works but when i took the battery out i found out the screws were impossible take out It should be a standard phillips screwdriver. if the screws are not turning, they may be stripped, or you may be using a driver that is too large. Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve had my Xbox for over 10 years and recently it has shown the error code 12 when I boot up my Xbox. After some searching it says that is has to do with the dvd parameters? Does this mean getting a new dvd drive for the xbox and problem solved, or is there more to it? Please help! @david Yes a new drive would do it, But if you feel like you can do it Inside the drives there are screws for the parameters you need to adjust them carefully though You would be best of just getting a new drive
