Chosen Solution After I replaced my broken screen, everything looked good! but for some reason a certain vertical line won’t work (there is no white line, just unresponsive section), I can’t type the letters u,j,b,n, the problem goes from the top to the bottom. Resetting, locking and unlocking fix the problems temporarily, so I guess this is a software problem, can anybody help me with this? Please. Clean out the digitizer connector with alcohol, then reseat it....

Chosen Solution Hello. I recently bought an iPhone 5s from a friend, it had a cracked screen and I had another 5s I received that is a parts phone. I replaced the screen using the ifixit tutorial and the device has been working just fine. Except for the touch ID scanner and I read that restoring the iPhone would possibly make it work. Chosen Solution My Iphone has a dark screen. I have tried to adjust the brightness, but it is stil the same. Is is the Ambient light sensor defect or is it a defect LCD cable? Remember do not try to charge, sync or otherwise use your phone. This potentially can make a bad situation worse. The very first step I would take is to disassemble your phone. Chosen Solution I’m trying to disable the command-comma shortcut which opens finder preferences for whatever application i’m using. I want to disable it. I’ve already tried going to system preferences > keyboard> and i couldn’t find the shortcut to edit, but found plenty of others. How do i disable the command-comma shortcut? The shortcut should be in the Keyboard Control Panel in the tab settings Shortcuts clicking on the Keyboard section....

Chosen Solution I bought a DS lite at a car boot sale which as far as I can tell is bricked (someone attempted to flash it but failed). Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro had a soda spilled on it about 6 months ago. At first I thought I had it cleaned up quickly enough that there wasn’t any damage. However, the right half of the keyboard seems to be developing “sticky” keys that is getting worse over time. This issue can be caused by either a corrupt operating system OR a problem with your hard drive. You can try booting to the install disc that came with your computer and then using disk utility to verify the hard drive. Ultimately, if you rather not tinker with it I would suggest having a technician diagnose it....

Chosen Solution I already did the RROD solution using the fix kit, my xbox 360 still shows the 3 Red Lights, Can I do something else to fix it?; Rogelio Garcia, the kit is strictly proving additional pressure on the GPU/CPU to try to close cracks in the solder joints. Combining this with a reflow with a heat gun may just add to a good repair. Check on here step 49 will explain it....

Chosen Solution My laptop screen have vertical lines and black blotch after my son punch it. It does have a punch mark crack but not sure if the lcd broke or not. How to know if i need to change the whole top lid or just the glass/lcd? The black spot is telling us the LCD its self is damaged. Chosen Solution I was supposed to remove the entire black ribbon at the top in one piece, but I accidentally tore this part off. As you can see, there are small copper pads that must transmit some data. Flex cables in general are quite hard to fix. From the looks of the pictured tear, this particular flex seems well beyond repair, it needs to be replaced.

After suffering through the appalling battery performance I luckily was able to return it within the buyers remorse period 13 days later. Chosen Solution Hi , i did a water damage repair of the backlight ic on this 6s which went well phone is working again ,, but i didnt realise it was fake charging , i have tried a new battery and , dock , still the same , i have changed tristar chip , still the same , i just got a usb amp meter and it showed around 1 amp current draw for around a minute then dropped to 0 the battery percent did rise from 65% to 68 % then jumped to 75% so seems a bit all over the place , i have tested P_IN on tristar it is 5v and PP1v8_SDRAM it is 1....

Chosen Solution Is the touch id button the same on the 4th and 5th gen ipad air? How to fix it and save the touch id function? I haven’t worked on either the fourth or fifth gen iPads, but based on my research this button is the same. As for repairing it—there is no way to keep Touch ID if you replace this button. The button is paired by Apple to its original iPad and they have not made the software to do this available....
