Loca glue is messy unless your buying them in sheet form then applied by machine…if you don’t want glue in the backlight just remove it off the back before glueing but keep in mind it is vey delicate and in some cases people just resolder a new one....

This sounds like to be the fan blades making contact with the shell casing of the fan, it could be due to dust interfering with the fans performance since its so close to the edges of its housing a little budge in any direction can cause it to grind, I had this problem with my Dell Inspiron XPS, I disassembled it cleaned the fan and manually spun it with my finger, sure enough a fan blade was making contact....

Chosen Solution I bought this 2.7 GHz i5 27” iMac from OfferUp and the seller said it was diagnosed as a bad power supply. I replaced the power supply and now I just get a flashing #1 LED. I’ve done many replacements on iPhones so this was very straight forward especially with the tools from iFixit. Upon turning the phone on it would do a few random restarts then settle down which I thought was strange. The LCD also showed faded white blocks on the top of the status bar but after searching people said those blocks would disipate and the screen would go back to normal which it did within a couple hours....
