Chosen Solution My MagSafe 2 connecter is heating so much and i found that it cause by pins that stuck a little bit. I wanted to fix it, but couldn’t disassembly with pliers. How can i fix it with/without disassembly? Use a wooden tooth pick and push the pins in and let them out several times. Did you spill anything into them? I don’t know if its still relevant but i had a similar problem, where the cable shorted out but the AC adapter and the connector were in okay condition....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery on my Late 2012 Macbook Pro. When removing the left side external speaker connection, I inadvertently pulled the socket connector off the board. I was trying to pull the connector out of the holder, but pulled the “holder” off the board as well. Now the connector just dangles, there is nothing to hold it onto the board. The internal jack works fine for headset. Is there a way to ‘glue’ or somehow re-attach this socket connector or would it require replacing the entire board?...

I replaced the lightning/headphone jack after purchasing the new component from ifixit, but I’m still have the same problem after the repair. The repair seemed to go smoothly otherwise. Chosen Solution My old iphone 4’s sleep/wake button died, so i followed a friends advice and decided to try putting a small pieced of paper in between the button and contact. I followed ifixit’s guide to install a new button, but instead of installing a new one, i merely took a small piece of paper and wedged it in between the button and contact. I tested it out before putting it back together and the button had decent feedback, so i preceded to put it back together....
