Chosen Solution The iPhone 6 of my uncle won’t turn on anymore. He was charging it when it started to smell bruned. In the next minute it was loosing all it’s charge and finally turned black. I already opened it and I checked the logic and charging boards for sooty spots. Anyone experienced something similar and knows which part needs to be replaced? Chosen Solution So, the story isn’t long and it was me being dumb, but the magnet that comes with the case fell off and ended up inside the driver head, I tried super glue but it just doesn’t stick. The driver does work, the bits fit but not all the way, any ideas on how to get it out? Yes, but it is not without some risk. Chosen Solution I cracked my screen so I used the ifixit guided to change it but now the touch screen wont work. The phone charges and displays messages but I cannot use the touch screen at all. I’d pull up the display assembly again and check all the cables leading to the front panel. My guess is that one of them is not seated properly in its socket.

Chosen Solution I have the liberation kit which opens the first bottom two screws and quite a few inside but there are about 3 screws that just won’t budge with either driver? These screws seem to be too big for the pentalobe but too small for the phillips. They are cross shaped; one gold-colored screw near the cellular antenna after removing the battery near the bottom and two towards the other on the top panel that covers the power and sensor cable....

Chosen Solution Hi, for Bootcamp I did burn the ISO on a DVD (Using Nero). In the past the iMac (27" EMC 2390) didn’t had a problem to recognize it (although it did cost sometimes several attempts before it actually did start to run). Now I get the pop-up the DVD is empty. A movie DVD works perfect as well as a CD. Did burn the ISO again with the same result… Could this be caused by a dirty laser?...
