Possible causes: Bad replacement screen assembly - the screen was replaced before and a poor copy screen was used; Damage from drop/liquid - the screen was original or replaced but was later damaged; Battery swollen, pushed it from inside and damaged it....

Chosen Solution Hi I recently replaced my iphone 6 screen with a 3rd party version. After the replacement I am seeing a significant amount of backlight bleeding onto the screen form the edges. Is this common for 3rd party screens. Chosen Solution Hello there! I bought a new battery because the battery in my iphone had swollen significantly, but after replacing it my iphone turn on only when in charge, but it just shows the apple logo and then the screen became black. I also tried the old battery, but it doesn’t work too, i’m sure to have followed all the right step because it’s not the first time i replace the battery, but apparently i have dameged something if even with the old battery it doesnt turn on....

Chosen Solution Woke up at 5am today to my phone stuck on the apple logo. Tried updating through iTunes to no avail and had to restore. Restore was successful and I restored a back up, while downloading spotify it froze and turned off. It bootlooped slowly around 7 times and now it’s just solidly on the apple logo. Phone also gets warm to the touch. Battery is 100% not the issue....

Chosen Solution Model 917 series. Ignition switch went bad. Someone put on a John Deere and it fried the pickup coil. New one bought, but wires for switch are not identified as to which terminal they go on. anyone know? Carl54, take a look at the attached schematics. Slightly differ from each other due to age of the model but the wiring from the ignition switch is identical. this should help you with your task of re-wiring....

Chosen Solution I fix the YLOD on my ps3 fat but, I feel the system hot about 15 minutes I think so, if mod the fan it is better, could you help me please thank you Adding extra fans to the system is usually a waste of time, especially on PS3’s where there is a huge system fan as well as no room for others. Depending on how old your system is, you may be able to reduce a lot of heat simply by changing your power supply....

You should see a white cap with ridges and a tab, open that. Next there should be a silver connector socket with a lighting bolt symbol, pull that off. You should now see the back of the bulb and its clip. Squeeze the clip and pull it back to remove the bulb....

Chosen Solution How to disassemble and access the battery From what I remember this model open from the front. You need to remove the front glass and LCD. Which is attached to the frame, which is clipped into the back. Very annoying repair, and risky. You need to be careful while removing the LCD and mid-frame, as it’s easy to crack the LCD while you’re prying. Once the screen and frame are removed, the battery and motherboard are located right behind it....

Chosen Solution Some coffee was spilled on my 2016 MBP the right (long) shift key became quite mushy. I want to remove it to clear it but I really don’t want to break it. Is there a picture of the inside of it or any info how to remove it? Key mechanism is very similar to 12" Retinas, due to the butterfly mechanism. Usually, the keys are held to the mechanism in the 4 corners of the key, use some tweezers to unclip it....

Chosen Solution I installed a new battery and charging port on a iPad 2 and when I go to charge it the light comes on and it shows a lighting bolt and battery with a read line and then it shows a usb with a symble but it won’t charge.Why is this. If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it says it’s charging....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone and I then plugged it in and lines came around the screen, so then I turned it off and then turned it back on and now the iPhone is responsive but the apps and the keyboard coloring is very dark and not the normal color it’s supposed to be and everything on my phone including pictures, are discolored. Chosen Solution I have an Xbox 360, had the mod chip and all, but they found me out through Xbox live and my mod chip got burnt, banned from Xbox Live and now it won’t play most original games. I just need to know if it can be fixed or do I need to buy a new 360? i’ll try to answer that - even if it’s not repair related afaik - if they banned it - it will stay banned (until the year 9999) maybe ixtreme is something for you (the colored text is a link)...

Chosen Solution Macbook Pro 2010 15" I had a go at upgrading my 2010 Macbook Pro 6,2 with 16GB (8GBx2 at 1066MHz) and Mavericks. Methodology: 1 installed mavericks via usb and 8GB (4GBx2). 2 upgrade the ram to 16GB Unfortunately I’m experiencing random kernel panics sometimes at boot other times a few minutes after log in. quite unreliable… Also getting some graphics artefacts with the Intel graphics but all looks better with the nvidia....

Otherwise I would take the iPhone to Apple for replacement under warranty. I believe you COULD have a faulty charing-IC (or set of components). This is a very common failure in iPhone 5....

If I changed the logic board, would it take off the Apple ID that locked on there? If you purchase a clean, non Apple ID locked logic board then yes it would fix your problem....

Chosen Solution I have a iMac 24" (A1225) which will not power on anymore. power on button gives no responce. Looking at the status LED’s i have the following behaviour: Power cord connected. LED 1 is on. pressing power on button, LED 1+2+3 is on, fan starts running, then after 2-3 seconds all LEDS out. iMac does noting. Also LED1 stays out. After taking of the power cord en reconnecting it LED1 is on again and the whole sequence can be repeated....

Chosen Solution For first time in my life I bought a iMac pc, so i did have any reference at all. It was always very slow to load programs, open safari, search on outlook or finder…. etc. (sometimes 10 to 20 sec per action) even open pictures at photos. I upgraded the RAM from 8 to 32, it better but still slow. May it be a problem with my HDD or motherboard?...
