As a result, a significant piece of the plastic casing has broken off and is now exposing the antenna that connects up into the screen. The plastic around the keyboard is also bent. The computer overall seems to still work, so maybe its just a cosmetic thing, but I’d like to replace the plastic casing....

Chosen Solution My friend broke his headphone jack in the headphone slot, soo how do you take a broken headphone jack out of the headphone slot? @nytryder26 you might be able to open it and push the broken pin out from the top of the connector Are you willing to replace the headphone jack? If so, follow the dissasembly guide. Screw off the back motherboard after everything is taken apart, and then you should be able to just take the headphone jack out and put the new one in....

Chosen Solution I replaced the HD in my 06’ macbook pro but it says that mac OSX can’t be installed on this location. How do I get mac OSX onto my new drive? Most drives are shipped with NTFS (Windows) compatible partitions. If you haven’t formatted the drive, just boot into the Install disk and go to disk utilities. There chose your partition scheme and use GUID Partition Table and format to HFS (Journaled) and you should be good to go....

Took about5 hours since I went really slow. ran battery down to 10 percent and fully recharged as instructed for battery calibration. Unit worked flawlessly all day today. When I got home I put it on the charger again and was working on it when it randomly rebooted. I noticed the battery reported 1 percent....

I have to hard reset (home button with power button) to turn back on and the speaker doesn’t work. Using headphones with the audio Jack gives audio fine.
