Chosen Solution Alright guys, so I’m having some troubles with an old flowerpot iMac. About a month ago I knocked a glass of water on the desk where the computer is sitting. There was no splash to speak of, the water just spilled around the base of the iMac. I immediately pulled the plug, but didn’t feel like doing much more, as it was 3AM. Anyway, I left it like that for over a week before plugging it back in and trying to turn it on....

Chosen Solution Occasionally our shop breaks a wifi antenna on an ipad when removing the broken glass. We have a stock of wifi antennas to replace. We do about 1,000 ipad repairs a year and very rarely break an antenna. One of my techs recently just broke one and replaced it. Problem is that the wifi reception even with the new one is not good at all. Do we just have crap replacement antennas?...

Chosen Solution I have viewed many videos and read lots of text but I still do not see how I can get the touch screen off and the plastic bezel without breaking them. I have gone thru a handful of plastic tools that are included with the touch screen and have only succeeded in cutting the edge on the tool off. Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Nokia Lumia 930 (same as the Icon), and 2 of my 4mics are dead. Can’t use speakerphone, and can’t record voice, recorded videos have mono sound, on skype video calls people can’t hear me (same as speakerphone). The diagnostics showed the 3rd and 4th mic are faulty. They were working fine when I bought it. One day they just stopped working. Still has warranty, though, but Nokia Care told me it could take several days to replace....

I replaced it, and all is well. A solution is to set the date and time manually. Gregory Peris, just like previously mentioned, it sounds more like a Speed sensor or a Cluster issue to me. If your odometer would be out as well, it might be different. To remove the speed sensor disconnect the coupler, remove the holding bolt and twist the sensor out....

Chosen Solution Greetings, Anyone know of instructions for repairing a MacBook power cable broken at the magsafe end? The mesh wire is completely separated and not long enough to reach the plug. Thanks You can find replacement magsafe cables on ebay and the likes for a few €/$. I would not recommend replacing the entire cable if your other end is fine but just snip away the ending part to desired lenght and join the inner/outer parts, much better if you can solder the parts....

Chosen Solution I recently sent my HP Spectre for repair. They replaced the motherboard and fixed the overheating problem, but now the USB-C ports are not working. I only have two USB-C ports on the side. One is not working at all, and the other needs a specific angle to allow for charging. Sounds very much like you need a new battery. If you haven’t used it in a while the chances are the battery has gone into deep discharge and disabled itself for safety....
