Chosen Solution I am looking for #0 & #1 Posidrive 4mm bits (repairing musical instrument). I have the ifixit 54 bit kit but can’t identify the Posidrive bits that have been mentioned therein. Anyone know which bits are Posidrive? The only 2 choices in the iFixit 54 bundle are labeled “PH” and “J”. Neither of them fit properly. HI @oldngray635 The Pozidrive screwdrivers are marked PZ and as far as I’m aware the iFixit kits don’t have Pozidrive heads in them....

Chosen Solution Hi, My iMac is playing up and won’t boot. I’ve pulled off the screen and notice that LED 1 & 2 are fine but LED 3 flashes on when the boot tone sounds then the computer resets. Chosen Solution My iMac won’t load a CD so I can make music discs for my car. I’ve had this problem intermittently in the past. After I upgraded to software previous to Yosemite I could not insert a disc into the CDROM drive if ITunes was open. If I closed iTunes, it would mount on the desktop and then I could open iTunes and burn a CD. I suspect Apple doesn’t care about CDROM drives anymore because they aren’t in the newer machines....

Chosen Solution Hi fixers, Recently i replaced one of my customers iPhone 6s screen. Since homebuttonflex was also broken, i replaced the homebutton as well. Straight after the repair, the phone did an update. Ever since, battery issues occurred. It drains 1% every ~ 80 seconds. You can literally see it decreasing … Regarding the timing of the update, it’s hard to tell whether it’s a hardware cause or a software issue....

Chosen Solution Hey there. I swapped out the battery but the earpiece doesn’t work anymore. The front camera works fine tho . I did forgot to disconnect the battery when removing the screen. Everything works but that. If you are sure the connector is seated properly the next step would be replacing the front camera flex cable as this is also responsible for the speaker and mic. It doesn’t sound like you damaged anything electrical disconnecting the flexes with the battery connected....

Chosen Solution I opened an iPhone 7 to check for water after getting it wet. No water. Phone accidentally turned on while opening it (no big deal). Turned it off, closed it up and then phone went into Boot Loop when I tried turning it back on. (Had no idea what that was so researched it). Found something on this site that said try disconnecting front camera flex cable. That worked....

David Caballero , David, Maybe just try this first, unhook your negative cable on battery for 5 minutes or remove ECU fuse from under hood fuse box for 5 minutes, put fuse back or reconnect battery and this will reset ECU. Chosen Solution My laptop has always been a pain turning on and just a pain in general. The standard procedure is to press the power button down with my whole fist. Today I decided to clean the insides of it and I accidentally bumped the ribbon that connects the MB with the Power Board and ended up breaking off the little piece that keeps the cable in place. As far as I know, it can’t be fixed unless I buy a replacement Power Board....

I’ve talked their support staff and they insist that is the way to open it. I asked if their was a tool to open it and they told me no. Chosen Solution Bought it used and it’s an old school laptop. How should I go about resetting it because it is managed? Just download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software… and make a bootable USB flash drive installer. Follow directions and carefully avoid as much MS trash as you can. To set up local loggin make sure not connected to Internet in finally stages of the install.

Chosen Solution So my iPhone 7 is not turning on anymore. It draws 0 amps when i connect the charger and when I press the Power Button its just sutck in a Boot Loop (it shows the Apple Logo, gets a little bit brighter and then turns off and repeat this behavior). I tested a known-good battery - same result thoguh. I am suspecting something board-level but I dont know if it is related to the Tristar-IC or Audio IC (because a symptom of a bad Audio IC is boot loop if I’m not mistaken)....
