Chosen Solution how can i see if the bluray laser is working? You do not want to look at the laser it can do permanent damage to your eyes. The answer is rather obvious, though not the answer you are looking for. If you put a disk in and the disk spins and it reads disk(s) it is working. If it is spinning disks but not reading them then I would try cleaning the lens with isopropyl alcohol to do that you will need to disassemble the PS3 to get to it....

Chosen Solution i have a silicon ball stuck in the headphone jack and its stuck in there pretty tightly. is there any way to take it out? please help vamsi without seeing it I would start with some of my tiny tweezers, use good judgement on a tool, maybe bend a straight pin to a 90 or more and try to hook it, if it cant be dug out then the phone will have to be disassembled and maybe even replace the jack, good luck, by the way whats a silicone ball doing in there !...
