Chosen Solution My problem is this: I Installed a new SSD into my mid 2009 MacBook Pro. At first it was working great, then after watching some video’s, screen went black, after the cursor just spun and spun. sometimes after going black I’d be able to move the cursor sometimes not. after a force shutdown, and restart, then I’d get the circle with the line, or the question mark. I put back the old drive, worked perfectly....

Chosen Solution I had dropped my hp pavillion laptop on the floor and it has broke the metal around the power button and will now not turn on. However straight after I did it it was working fine until I shut down but the power button is now jammed in and unable to move so unable to turn back on. Can this be fixed? You’ll probably have to take the motherboard out and then hopefully you’ll be able to see the damage from the inside....

I suggest, If your Irulu tablet 7 is not powering on any more and you do not wish to deal with repairing it your self, take it into a good local cell phone/computer repair shop, have them take a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Chosen Solution Guess what? I am thinking of buying yet another older Mac. However, I try not to pay very much for these older Macs so I end up getting either broken systems to fix or Macs that are “bottom of the barrel” cosmetically. I found a 2006 Mac Pro on eBay for 150$ that is fully working but cosmetically damaged. Chosen Solution Bought the iFixit kit, which included 1TB Samsung 860 Evo SSD. Followed Mike’s Clone an Existing Drive guide, only issue was that “Mac OS Extended (Journaled)” wasn’t found when I tested on USB. Re-cloned as APFS, and all fine there, booted perfectly. Jeff’s guide is great - all went well - toughest bit is getting the adhesive strips on properly. Now the issue - won’t boot with the SSD in the internal HD bay, screen shows only a folder icon with “?...

Chosen Solution I have had 4 iPhone 5S’ come in over the last 2 weeks for charging port issues. Each phone, I would take the screen off, plug a new charging port in and test the charger. The phone’s would all come on and go into a boot loop. So I would also plug in a new battery and do the test again. The phones would all come on, and show that the phone was charging, however the percentage would never go up....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 (128gb) ran out of battery one night 3 weeks ago and because of lint, had a bad connection while charging. While trying to automatically boot up several hours later, it disconnected and ran out of battery charge. After more charging by morning, it came into a boot loop with the apple logo. Later that day, after messing around with resetting and charging, it got out of the boot loop (and I foolishly thought the problem was solved)....

Chosen Solution I got an IPhone 6 dead because of not good quality of charger and the charger is BURNED !! The guy sent in to me for repair, i suspect the faulty comes from Charging IC U1700. So I changed the U1700 and now its boot up normally. But the second issue is, the battery percentage are not increasing while charging. It did shows the charging symbol but its not charging the battery properly....

Chosen Solution followed the step by step directions and replaced by iPhone 6 plus battery… all seemed to go smoothly, but now the iPhone won’t boot (stuck in the apple logo loop on an apple usb charger).. and “waiting on iPhone” in iTunes restore mode connected to my 2016 iMac with current iTunes… GAH! Most likely the new battery doesnt have enough of a charge to boot the phone. So, either the charging doc needs replaced or cleaned as it is not charging your new battery with enough charge to boot it or you have a board related (u2) ic chip problem and need to replace the (u2) Tristar IC to get it charging properly....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iPhone 6s which is always warm when not completely turned off (even after multiple reinstalls via iTunes) so the battery empties after 5-6 hours in standby. Besides that the battery actually is pretty weak, the phone gets warm at a specific spot, which is beneath the mainboard protection plate below the display connectors. Since I don’t want to risk destroying the mainboard with desoldering the plates, I wanted to ask if this is a common problem/spot and if changing the battery could even be the solution of this problem?...

Chosen Solution Sorry for my bad English iphone 6s motherboard short after replace u2 ic. Then i remove u2 ic but still short is there, anyone can help me It would help if you told us which voltage rail is shorted. What led you to believe that U2/Tristar was the problem? When dealing with a “dead” phone, you have to start at the beginning and check PP_BATT_VCC, PP_VCC_MAIN and PP5V0_USB. I would start by checking to see if those rails are shorted to ground....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 6s Plus died. I was using it and power just cut out and now will not power on. I tried the iPhone reset, different power adapters, as well as connected it to computer to make sure it was not powered on but no screen. All to no avail! I read in a few places to try the battery and the lightening connector. So I tried both from iFixit and neither resolved the issue....
