You cannot take an 80gb with an already installed version of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and earlier and simply put it in place of the computer with the 40gb. Windows 10, you can, but you need to have a valid product key for most hardware configurations....

If you don’t have it, contact previous owner and ask to remove the iPhone from his/her iCloud account and then restore to factory settings. Chosen Solution After installing a new AC/DC power supply, when connecting the power cord, the diagnostic LED #1 comes on briefly and then turns off. Disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord returns the exact same result and for what appears to be the exact same time. The LED doesn’t flicker, rather gives a good steady one second illumination before going out. Thinking I had possibly installed a faulty power supply, I replaced it with a second new one yet the results are the same....

So its not because after watching for a while the sound control will come up on screen and just go to 0. If you press + it will increase but as soon as you stop pressing button it goes down. After 3 days, when the phone is plugged in, the screen turn on and show the Apple’s logo for 0.5-1 sec and turn black. The screen just show a black image but not totally turn off. iTunes can’t recognize my phone. I removed and reballed the silver touch IC (U2401), put it back, the touch was back to life. However one line on screen was not responsive. Chosen Solution Okay so this issue seems to be pretty unique because i looked through all the questions here and I did not find anything but I work in a Phone repair place and I encounter this pretty often. Iphone 6 lightly bent frame on the top right corner. The screen does not swipe sometimes. There are small thick lines only on the top of the screen (flickering). Once i put pressure on the frame on the top right corner screen seems to start work again when I let go this flickering starts again and screen has issues again....
Chosen Solution hello everybody! i had an iphone 6s for repair, it was discharging by doing nothing and found out that tristar chip was hot. i replaced tristar from iphone 7. now it is not booting, vcc_main shows the same as the battery voltage, charging takes max 0.1a. now nothing heats up after tristar change. pls help, is this short, or what? becouse nothing heating up. It’s always better to do a bit of probing to try and understand where the actual issue is because every time you swap IC’s you are applying a lot of heat to the logic board and this can (and will) cause collateral issues....
