Chosen Solution On older MacBook devices, you were able to remove the AirPort chips, which contained the wi-fi and bluetooth functionality. The newer models use the system-on-a-chip approach. Could anything be done to disable wi-fi and Bluetooth there? Update (05/15/2018) Perhaps this can be better asked: can the 339S025 Wi-Fi + bluetooth chip be removed on the new MacBook models? Turning off or removing both WiFi and Bluetooth would be needed, to be ‘Air-Gapped’ from a connectivity perspective....

Chosen Solution sir’ my left power window can roll down but it cannot roll up. i have recently change a new battery. so should i do to fix my problem. Most likely the problem is the switch. Honda/Acura use a polarity reversing ground at rest power window system, same as the door locks. When not rolling the windows, [at rest] both the leads going to the window motor are grounds, when the switch is pressed for up or down the ground is “lifted” off one of the leads and 12V+ is supplied, window rolls in one direction, when switch is rocked in the other direction the ground is “lifted” from the other lead and 12V+ is supplied to it, polarity reversing....

Jabari Brandford the only way to do that is by looking at the board. There will most likely be a parts sticker or a number silkscreened on it. Chosen Solution Trying to install Lubuntu 18.04 LTS in this Macbook to extend its useful life. Maximum it now has is 10.7 but that is obsolete for internet purposes. I have downloaded the Lubuntu iso but when I burn it to DVD (using my 2010 Mac Mini with Yosemite) the result is a Master Boot Record DVD, and not the desired Partition Map GUID. I suspect I must first convert the iso to dmg but I know nothing of how to do it....
Chosen Solution Hi The battery was almost dead. So I plugged it in. The battery charging indicator came on, then the apple logo appeared, but when it chirped and tried to turn on, it froze. Then chirped and tried to turn on again. It never seems to charge. And when connected to iTunes it seems to be recognized but won’t sync. Is there some way to circumvent the boot up? Other ideas?...

Looking at the user guide for a Hover-1 Liberty there is no mention of it having Bluetooth capability, whereas when you search other Hover-1 models e.g. Hover-1 Superstar, Chrome, Matrix, H1, Horizon, Eclipse etc it mentions Bluetooth in the specifications.
Chosen Solution I have dual booted my PC…First I’ve install Windows 10 and then Windows 7. So when I boot my PC, a nice blue Boot Manager was appearing and i have to select an OS. But I had to install easyBCD because the Boot Manager was not showing up and was booting directly in Windows 10. After that, I had my boot manager back again but unfortunately it became black and white....

The MP3 will have to be disassembled to look for damaged/loose components/wires/connections, cracked solder joints, etc.. Chosen Solution i dont know how to turn off the voice control kaye, I don’t think there is an “official” way to do that. You can disable voice dialing by ->Settings->General->Passcode Lock>Voice dial. Take a look on here. Also applicable to iPhone 4C (iPhone 4 CDMA). Stuffe answers this on Ask Different. This setting seems to have been removed. Prior to 7.1 it was in: Settings > General > Passcode > Voice Dial > OFF Since 7....

Chosen Solution Yesterday, I split on MacBook Air keyboard coffee and after it was cleaned, my left shift kept on pushed. Physically it seems ok, but it isn’t. I have already tried using the programs DoubleCommand and keyremap4macbook, but the second one recalls error and the first one doesn’t have option with Shift. I can’t do nothing, because if I to typing, everything is written with Shift… It really slows down performance of Mac....

From the way I understand it ( haven’t done it ) you would have to have your HDD NAND IC removed by micro soldering, have the information copied (programmed to a new larger sized HDD NAND IC and Micro Soldered back on to increase memory on iphone. Very risky though to do with a chance of bricking your phone....

Chosen Solution I amazingly brought my iPhone 4s back to life after murdering it in the washing machine on a heavy cycle no less… It was rendered completely dead at the time, would not power on, or be recognized by plugging it into the computer once it was fully dried out. I deemed it a brick and went and got a new phone but later read about the steps to try and recover a water damaged phone… Long story short - found iFixit and saw the price of the liberation kit along with a replacement battery and how well detailed their repair guides were and decided to give it a shot with no real expectations of it surviving....
