Chosen Solution So my sister was haveing wifi problems, so I was replacing her wifi card, come to find out that the guy she got it from also changed the wifi card (with a drill) and stripped 5 screws (4 of 5 holding the keyboard and the screw holding the old wifi card) but I noticed that there was another mini pcie slot but now the computer won’t use the new wifi card as the old one is still in (even though it’s drivers are uninstalled and disabled) the computer detects and identifies the new card but won’t let me turn it on like in the win 10 settings area or the network and sharing hub or in the dash… Any way to turn this on without haveing to take the old card out?...

Usually when the iPhone locks you out it is for a preset amount of time, based on how many times you’ve incorrectly entered the passcode. If the time period isn’t too long, you can just wait it out and then enter the proper passcode. Be careful though because if you are wrong again, the time period will increase again....

Chosen Solution Hello fellow iFixers, My iMac has this vertical area of slightly darker pixels, please see attached image. I’ve found a bunch of similar questions both here and on Google, but they all seem to be more severe cases than mine. It’s really barely noticeable, mostly on dark/contrast backgrounds, especially if I make the display very bright. It doesn’t seem to affect the image quality, it just… bothers me. I was planning to upgrade the RAM in this machine, and if there is a simple fix for this, I may as well go ahead with it....
Chosen Solution I was replacing broken digitizer ( i guess thats my 4th time ) but this time i messed up FPC LCD connector on Logic board so thats need replacing , but i have actually , carefully but completely remove ( stripped down ) LCD connector from PCB , and all soldering pins looks ok, Now obviously iPad LCD screen in not connected so i am only relaying whats showing in iTunes ....
Chosen Solution The other day I cracked the screen to my iPad mini 1st gen. I tried to replace the digitizer myself and when I finally finished installing it and booted up my iPad, the lcd had lines all over and it looked horrible. The display does not update immediately together, there is a section on the top of the screen that updates right away, and the section on the right updates slowly and lags behind, sometimes freezing and then popping into place....

Chosen Solution I received an iPad3g that was ran over. While the display and touch panel were broken, the internal parts did not look bad. I cleaned it up and put it back together. The display shoes white light so I ordered a new display and touch pad. I put it all together doublecheching all connections but now it is dead. While it was apart I tested the battery pack and it tested good....
Chosen Solution It looks like that after I reassembled my phone, don’t know why. Spots won’t go away, they’re burned into the lcd pages. If you swapped lcds it will fix this, see this all the time. Just minor damage to the LCD. Not a big deal. Has the possibility of going away I have two on mine and its a brand new screen apparently
Chosen Solution iphone 6 error 4013. I removed and reprogrammed nand but once the phone is returned the phone is not recognized. I checked all pins under nand and condensers, line 3 volt and 1.8 volt and there are all. The telescope without nand mass is not even detected. What can I check? connecting the cable phone I have 2.70 volts on battery connector TRISTAR? Sounds like you are on the right track with 4013 and reprogramming and reballing NAND…I would definitely try Tristar for the USB Voltage Charging issue…have you checked the VCC_Main and BATT lines for voltage check and caps around U2?...

I replaced the display everything worked okay, but after half an hour it shut down. Then it was rebooting. Next day it was same some mins it worked then it stopped. Chosen Solution My DC-IN power input is bad. Need to replace this plug any manual on how to do this? The DC power jack is soldered to your motherboard/logic board. So replacement requires moderate soldering skills. If you have never soldered before there are a number of good tutorials on how to remove and solder a DC power jack. I would recommend you Google “dc power jack replacement tutorial” and look at several of them till you feel comfortable with what needs done and the tools needed....
Chosen Solution I have tried the two suggestions always given for this issue; using the home and sleep/wake buttoms simultaneously and restoring in iTunes. Neither fixes has worked.
