Chosen Solution I bought a laptop today at a pawn sbop but they did not give me the password to start the computer. If it is just to log in to windows, search on the internet for your version of windows and just download a trial version, and install that and activate with the product key on the laptop. If it is when you power it on straight away then you will probably have to clear the bios or something like that
Chosen Solution I got a serious question… Howmuch would it cost to get the glass on the iPod fixed/repaired? I accidentally dropped my iPod Touch 4th Generation 32 GB on a tile floor, making the glass break towards the point that it gets very disturbing while using the iPod. Any ideas on what I should do? Get new glass for it, and repair it myself? Or send it in to Apple?...
Chosen Solution i have a small piece of paper lodged in my headphones jack and would like to remove it but dont know how, any suggestions/tips will be greatly appreciated Power it off and use needle point tweezers that can be found on line or at the local drug store. Use a light and a magnifier to be sure you got it all out, power it back up and try it out....

Chosen Solution I recently got a decent deal on a used early 2013 (edu) iMac. The specs weren’t great (i3, 4GB, 500GB HDD), but I purchased an i5-3570k, 16GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 240GB SSD to put in it. I took it apart no issue, upgraded the parts, and put everything back together. Before I put the screen on, I tested the screen to verify functionality. Unfortunately, the Mac chimed but the display didn’t turn on....
Chosen Solution My iMac turns on and has the apple screen on with the boot up continually running. There is a little circle thing that indicates that it is trying to boot up. But nothing is happening. CAN ANYONE HELP ME??? much worse is relative - it’s always bad when something like that happens but i would do pretty much the same reset the iMac like this and that if the iMac still won’t boot use the instllerdisk and try to boot up....

Chosen Solution Hi all Need advice as to whether it is possible to have the battery pin connector part replaced on the motherboard as I stupidly broke one of the pins off that help power the ipad on when separating the board from the battery (see pictures) The broken pin is BATT_SWI_CONN and it is used to communicate the battery charge state to the CPU. The actual connector is soldered on to the logic board so the only way to fix it is to replace the connector or solder a bridge from the battery directly to the end point on the logic board....

The battery never increased instead it was decreasing. So i opened it again and again and put back the old battery, but the old Battery work just fine. But the screen won’t work on my phone. when I turn the phone on the screen is black but the phone still vibrates and makes noise. Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I recently picked up an iPhone 6 for £55 - bargin! The problems were described by the seller as: terrible cosmetic condition, cracked and unresponsive LCD, and stuck “searching”. I’ve replaced the LCD and it works great, and a new back cover is on the way. However, there is one thing that I haven’t figured out. The phone is stuck “searching” despite all resets, etc. Reading on the forum, it would appear this issue is common, and almost always ends up at a semi-fatal ‘dead RF chip’ which needs reballing....

It sustained some water damage 2.5 weeks ago, was turned off/in rice for a week, and was sort of working until last night, when it started acting up again. Chosen Solution There is a small leak that drips off the oil pan but can’t tell where it is coming from? You may not have a seal leak as these trucks had bad oil pans and it could actually be the pan itself that has holes in it Jenn76, that can come from anywhere. Leaking valve cover gaskets, bad oil pan gasket etc. I suggest you steam clean your engine and inspect a bit closer....

Try removing the batteries overnight to allow it to clear. Ten minutes might work too. Hold the power button on the keyboard for 10 seconds when its turned off. you’ll find when you first turn it on the LED flashes slowly....
