Any suggestions for fixing a problem with this error code?? 0011 over heating - If you are receiving this error after disassembling your console make sure to all 8 of the heatsink screws are tightened securely to the board/heatsink holes. This error appears when the CPU overheats....

You may be able to resolder the old USB port if it had just come loose from board and is undamaged. This is really not a job for the beginner, It takes skill and finesse to remove old and resolder this small of part with out damaging/burning surrounding area on the board....

Chosen Solution When I’m listening to my Ipod with earphones, I hear the intruments of the music but I can not hear any lyrics…I might hear one word, but normally it’s nothing but instrumental. loisneely, try a different set of headphones and see if that makes a difference. If that does not make a difference you may have to check your setting and reset to default and/or do a restore with iTunes....

Apple (Foxconn?) uses a inferiour brand of thermal paste, so replacing it with something like Arctic MX2 (very good) brings a lot of improvement. Also, these machines tend to gather up dust rather quickly, so a good cleanout is recommended....

Chosen Solution Some time, the fan on my Mac pro works very fast and it’s noisy also. Do I need to replace the fan? Could be that you just have some dust built up on the heatsinks, which causes the computer to run hotter, which in turns causes the fans to kick up. Pop open the sides and see if it’s dusty. Anyway, no a loud fan does not mean you need to replace it, if you manually adjust the fans on an iMac it will sound like a jet....

It could be just a faulty battery and you could try another, if that doesn’t resolve it, it could be charging port, or worst case scenario U2 IC chip problem. Just ask for a replacement on the battery they sent, should be ok....
