Chosen Solution I have refurbished an iPhone 5 into a “6 mini” housing. Done a few of these, no problems. Had to change the battery in one as it could of done with a new one, one of the screws wouldn’t come out and now it spins (so not stripped) but turns to a certain point then clicks any suggestions? don’t really know what else i can do. no access to the screw other then a screwdriver....

When he gave us the phone it would not respond to anything. we tried plugging into a PC to connect using iTunes with no success, would not show a red low battery when pressing the sleep/wake button, no charging indicator when plugged into charger, Home + Power held for 30+ seconds with nothing. So after opening up the phone and testing a new battery on it, it booted right up....

The solder joints are all that hold that plug on the board when the user jams the connector in to it. I have searched all over the web and cannot find it. Does someone have a source for this part....
Chosen Solution Black screen of death, but I can see the screen when I shine a flashlight through it and it works with an external display. The keyboard backlight is still working, but not the screen. I haven’t had any spills or drops, but this has happened before. It magically fixed itself last time and lasted for another year. It seems I’ve run out of luck. I’ve reset the SMP, PRAM, and all of that, and I had an Apple person look at it....

Chosen Solution Have you upgraded your OS (what OS are you using)? Have you upgraded the EFI? Both those come into play with the graphics change especially. Lots of free space on the boot volume? Luckily both of the daughter boards are here, but there are both packaged together. Is there any way to identify which daughter board belongs to which motherboard? If not, is there any issue with swapping them around if they don’t work first time around?...
