Chosen Solution When I power on my iMac, it shows me the Apple logo for a minute and then a white screen with a circle with a line through it. I read on this site that this is due to a bad hard drive, so I replaced my hard drive with the recommended 2T Seagate (I am pretty handy). After hard drive replacement, I still have the same issue. I have tried holding down COMMAND R, and OPTION during power-up, but it doesn’t change anything....

I then started using it when i needed to put parental controls on the family windows 10. It ran out of power so i connected the charger and it never charged regardless of how long i left it charging....

The optical drive port does not offer HD crash guard so placing HD’s on its connection that does not have crash guard onboard the drive its self puts it at risk....

Chosen Solution After replacing the LCD and Digitizer in an Ipad Mini, the two new parts are making contact, creating the illusion of liquid in the device when the Ipad is sealed up. I am using the same adhesive I have been using on ipad mini’s for the past 3 years or so, and I have tried 2 different LCD’s. I cannot find anything under the LCD that would be causing it to sit higher than it should, and there is no damage to the frame that would cause the digitizer to sit closer to the LCD....

Chosen Solution I’m currently trying to fix an iPhone 5 that works just fine after a battery replacement (as long as the battery has some charge, it seems). The phone will turn on, it will charge normally, and nothing seems wrong. The battery does seem to drain a little bit fast. The guy opened my iPhone to check its internals and then WE NOTICED THAT THE 5 SCREWS THAT SECURES THE DISPLAY DATA CABLES WERE ONLY 3! And the iPhone is also bent. The guy offered me to replace the screen and the rear housing for a total of $108!...

The pad wirh red color is missing. B3 is Ground so you can connect it to any ground point. One of the adjacent caps (C1552) will do just fine. Thanks Michael.. Chosen Solution replace keyboard Hi Gary, The keyboard on your MacBook is part of the top case and cannot be replaced. You have to replace the whole top case. You can contact the guys here at iFixit for a replacement part or search for one on ebay. You would have to replace the whole top case. Remove the 3 screws from the bottom of the MacBook, then the 2 small ones beside the optical drive, 4 screws on the back of MacBook....

Chosen Solution My laptop took a tumble off my bed a while ago, and somehow the charging cord damaged the bottom left corner of the screen, which in turn caused a black bar to appear over a couple of inches of my screen. Currently the screen is still working, but it is difficult to use really any program that requires me to see that strip of screen, or to access my preferences, to save/open/etc....

Now, I’m trying to replace the back cover to get to the keyboard but the back cover just will not budge (Even though I’ve removed all screws). Chosen Solution I haven’t spilled anything or dropped/damaged my computer, but recently the far right side of my trackpad has become sticky to click (I have to press it harder) and it makes a different sound. The left side feels normal. In addition, the far right side is not as responsive to my finger movements, and I can’t do multitouch gestures there. It seems like this might be related to the button issue....
