Chosen Solution I had went in a water park and sealed my iPhone in a water proof bag which turned out not to be water proof at all. As i took out the iPhone from the bag fulled with water i noticed the light was blinking and the iPhone screen went blank. I tried booting up back the iPhone but was of no use. I opened the iPhone and dried out the inside and as soon as i connected back the battery connector i realized that where the processor is located it started getting hot....

I can still see the light inside when I press the power button, but nothing shows on my screen. The extra equipment you have to buy, the time it takes to separate the broken glass from the lcd, the risk of damaging the LCD while separating it, and the time it takes to remove the old glue from the lcd is not worth it....

I put it in rice immediatly. it has been 4 hours and now it wont turn on please help @tuffyboy7, maddi, Rice will have done nothing to save your phone, rice is a poor desiccant. Stop charging or powering up your iPhone 6 until the liquid damage is addressed correctly, as you could be shorting out components inside the phone....
Chosen Solution The plastic back plate broke where the pin holds the spring. The spring and the pin are missing and the back clip plate is broken. Can I get the parts for repairing it? It is less then 5 months old and as far as I know has never been dropped. It just broke. please let me know if you need anything more
Chosen Solution The battery is still in the original shipping envelope and has never been used or even opened up. My iPhone SE (Gen 1) is now showing signs of battery deterioration as it is not holding a charge too long. I wanted to change it but I am now concerned that the battery I have (new) is perhaps no longer any good? I asked iFxit but they cannot provide guidance and suggested I try the forum....
