I could agree that it is because of a deformation (distortion) of the frame but why a screen of origin get married well to the frame?! Look at the photos of comparaison. Is there a reset procedure for the HP Slate that doesn’t involve using the touchscreen? If your device is unresponsive your tablet may need to be reset. But here’s the problem… I tried 2 of those scopes, and both lenses in both scopes have quite a bit of dust and the second was terrible in the right lens. Hi, Your best bet is to open the tablet, disconnect the battery, (do not short circuit the battery leads when you remove them from the board, individually insulate them to prevent this from happening) and remove the systemboard from the case. Then you need to gently wipe clean both sides of the systemboard completely using isopropyl alcohol 90%+ and a Qtip to remove any trace of water and the corrosion that may be caused by the contaminants in the water....

Below find a guide to show Shuffle logic board removal, which then you can inspect for damage/burnt components under a magnifier and possibly change board if needed.
