Chosen Solution Are iphone 6 and iphone 6s screen replacements the same or different? The LCD itself will apparently be the same as the iPhone 6, so they can more than likely be used on the 6S for refurb purposes, the things that will be different are pretty much everything else, shield under the LCD(will have hole for force touch), frame will be different to, and probably the glass etc. The third party companies that refurbish screens will end up finding a way to use the iPhone 6 LCD’s with the 6S, only thing they have to worry about is the shield with the hole in, I was reading about this somewhere but can’t remember the site....

Chosen Solution I’ve purchased an iPhone 6 that had a wiggly home button. It was loose to he point that touch ID didn’t work at all - putting your finger on the sensor didn’t do anything. I used double sided tape on the part of the screen where the home button gasket goes o try and make it stick better, but even though it was noticebly less loose and I could actually get through the touch ID setup, when I tested it when the phone was locked it didn’t work at all no longer how many positions I put my finger in....

Chosen Solution I’ve been trying to fix my iPhone but the battery dosen’t seem to be working. Checking the logic board battery connectors with the multimeter reads .55v but the battery reads nothing. Red and black is how I connected the multimeter leads. There’s no polarity problem when measuring with a multimeter, what you’ve done is correct. Reversing probes polarity gives you the correct tension with a minus sign on display, that’s all....

Chosen Solution After 6 months of trying to figure out the problem I finally caught the icemaker in the act! It turned and dumped partial pieces of ice cubes. When it turned back and filled I reached into the tray and felt partial pieces of ice cubes thereby causing the ice tray to overfill and drip down into the bucket freezing the collected ice and making a solid block. Any ideas as to how to demineralize the ice tray so all of the cubes drop?...

Chosen Solution 1yr old refurbished mac book pro. Originally slow internet loading, and knocking me off wifi. Chosen Solution The flip down clip for the headphone jack connector on the mobo broke off. Can i just use kapton tape or something to keep it in? If not, how do i replace it? @coopbossman tape will not close the contacts. It needs that little bit of pressure from the clasp. Depends on how and where it is broken, sometimes you can reinsert the clasp. If you can’t get a broken board and harvest the connector from that....

Chosen Solution I have seen similar questions on here, but I want to make sure I know whats wrong with my computer before tearing into it. For the last couple days using it it started to freeze pretty frequently, usually if I was on youtube.
