Chosen Solution Hi every one, i have one plus 6T, i have spoiled a hot liquid candle wax on it, and i was able to remove the damage from the screen (thanks to the screen protector) now am left with only 3 holes for the speaker to listen from (the rest is blocked with the wax), i have tried to apply some heat from the hair dryer with no luck, what do you think is the best way to solve this issue ?...

Chosen Solution iPad 6 brought to me with a broken digitizer and also with a home button that was torn off. Digitizer replaced with a new home button flex cable. Everything worked well and I sent it back to the owner. Next day I get a message that the LCD has gone grey with lines through it. I took the iPad back and started looking it over again. I realized that the flex cable from the home button was getting fairly hot....
Chosen Solution my home button has been less responsive even after calibration and cleaning so I suspect that the ribbon cable is to blame. Since it is held on by adhesive and taking the old broken one off would remove said adhesive, do I need to worry about the new cable not adhering, if so what adhesive should I use? Any replacement cable worth buying will have the adhesive already on it....
Chosen Solution I have a iphone 5, it was dropped now it turns on sometimes, sometimes it shows battery icon with one red line then turns on to IOS, sometimes wont do anything when power button is pressed. When its apart with lcd laid on top of frame it seems to always work then once reassembled it acts up again. Once it stops turning on usually connecting it to a computer can get it to turn back on....

I am aware that there is no baseband in this phone and no IMEI assigned to them so it will never be able to connect to a cellular network but im getting really annoyed with the live demo software and would like to know how to remove it. Chosen Solution i have a galaxy s7 edge and its cracked and has ink in it. how do i get the ink out? Sorry dude, but those black spots on your screen mean your screen is broken. There is no way to make those go away without replacing the screen. I see you do not want it replaced but trust me the time and money you put into this repair will not go to waste as buying a new phone would be more expensive then a repair would be and the phone is not that old anyways....
Chosen Solution PSP does not get charged with laptop socket The PSP 1001 phat will not charge via USB without a hardware mod. If you’re good with small electronics and a soldering iron you can pull the mobo and solder a thin cable from the USB port to the power. Google it. Go to settings>system setting>USB charging-turn it on. Then connect USB cable to psp and to laptop/computer go to settings,go to second options USB connect....

Try a Hard Reset of the device and re-sync with iTunes. in iTunes, select your iPod or whatever the name of it, the go to Summary. Check “Convert higher bit-rates to 128kbps AAC” the reason for this is that there are songs that are higher in bit-rates that are in higher quality, meaning wasting of memory....

Chosen Solution The power button is not responding at all, (tried all the combos like volume down+power, etc.). My phone is at 100% charge. Are there any ways that y’all know of? So from what it sounds like it’s just your power button. Correct me if I’m wrong but you LCD is working properly, hence why you know the phone is at 100% battery life. I would try Odin Mode just to see if it triggers....
Chosen Solution Well my issue is this: I bought an iPad 3 online and the seller forgot to reset it now he’s refusing to send his Apple ID and password due to privacy issues - which is fair enough. I suggested he should change to a provisory password, leave it for a couple of minutes - he’ll get a text from Apple anyway, it’s part of the two-step process to reset a device - then after a couple of minutes he could change it back but he still refuses to do it....
Chosen Solution After replacing display on S21 powered device on and went through functionality checks and front camera will not access. were you able to fix the front camera with a replacement? the connector tabs if I remember correctly are just pressure from frame. you will need to check that it is seated correctly. I’m sure you’ve resolved your issue by now but I’ll add an answer as I just had this issue and spent hours searching the web trying to figure it out....

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2011 27” Imac with an SSD which has been installed for the last 6 months without problem. Two days ago whilst working on the Imac the screen went to a blank light grey screen. I tried rebooting the machine but half way through the boot timer the screen drops to the same blank light grey screen and will try to reboot on its own accord, which inevitably returns back to the blank screen half way through the load process....

Chosen Solution After my iphone took a quick trip down the toilet i rescued it, dried it off and left it in rice overnight. 24 hours later I tried to boot it up, no luck, I conneted it to itunes and the computer did pick it up, and the phone made the usual noises, and even connected to my bluetooth headset, but the screen woud just not come back to life, it does however have a background glow when any buttons are pressed, so backlight must be fine....
Chosen Solution I’m used to having leftover parts after an auto repair, but not so much for iPhones. I followed the steps to replace the battery on my wife’s 5s, and everything went smoothly until I was about to reattach the battery connector when I noticed a leftover piece at the top left of the chassis. I didn’t remove it, and I can’t find in an exploded parts diagram. I put the phone back together, and so far it seems to work fine....
